This is the private rental of an old house, [Kokoro]. This is a private house that is exclusively rented to one group per day, where you can feel close to the rich nature of Shiga Prefecture and enjoy rural life. It is a calm, old-fashioned space that can accommodate up to 10 guests. Please relax and enjoy your stay with family and friends. It is about an hour by car from the city of Kyoto, and if you are coming by train, it is about 20 minutes by bus from Adogawa Station on the JR Kosai Line, or about 10 minutes by taxi. It is popular with overseas guests, families, and groups. We also rent out BBQ sets (equipment) for a fee, so please feel free to ask. There is free parking on the premises. Up to 3 standard cars can be parked. For large vehicles, it may be difficult to park 3, so please contact us in advance. If you consult with us in advance, we can also rent out space for a fee. We also offer free bike rentals. There are also plenty of outdoor facilities in the surrounding area, so please use it as a base for your activities. Even if you don't have a bicycle, why not try cycling the Katsuragawa Cycling Road (Kyoto Hachimangu-Kizu Cycling Road), a 45 km route that ends at the Arashiyama Togetsu-kyo Bridge in Kyoto? We have started renting bicycles and tandem bicycles (2-seaters). How about cycling together as a couple? It is also close to Sakadokoro Fushimi, Uji no Heidain, Inari Taisha Shrine, Yasaka no Iwashimizu Yasaka Shrine, 30 minutes to Nara, and is perfect for sightseeing in southern Kyoto. The area aournd the house is once small castle town. The house is located next to the Shrine, Hiyoshi-Jinja, where the Omizo Festival is held on May 3 and 4 every year.
