I stayed at Anna’s place for a month and had a wonderful experience: the apartment is comfortable, quiet, and fantastically located in Kolonaki – next to the American and British schools, a 5-minute walk from the metro, at the foot of the beautiful Lycabettos, and close to the National Gallery. Most importantly, Anna is a thoughtful, welcoming host: I was blown away by her kindness and attention to detail. I'd highly recommend this listing, and would certainly stay here again!!

This apartment was absolute perfection for my solo trip to Athens! It looks exactly like the photos. It's located at the back of the building so it is very quiet and it has a lovely little balcony overlooking a small courtyard. The bedroom area (which could be separated from the living area with sliding doors) was pitch black and completely silent at night so I slept really well! The neighborhood is extremely safe and there are a number of great restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store and a bakery. As others have mentioned, there are a lot of steps to the apartment along the street from the Evangelismos metro stop. (It's only a short walk to Lycabettus Hill for viewing the sunset.) The apartment had everything that I needed for my stay and the washing machine was a bonus! I also appreciated the coffee and tea. The owner's mother let me into the apartment and explained everything to me. Book this place if you can - you will feel like a guest in someone's home.
