Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace in the centre of Seoul. Dongchonjae, built about 100 years ago, is a traditional hanok that has been officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organisation. Dongchonjae has been run by a retired couple who opened their home to guests in October 2020. Dongchonjae is located on a 380.17 m² plot of land It consists of one building, and the space is the main house (Anche/Main House), Sarangchae/Detached House, and Annex. Guests have exclusive use of the Main House and the Annex. The host is in a separate building You will be staying in a detached house, and we will personally assist you with any necessary services, including providing breakfast. We hope you can comfortably experience the tranquil beauty and subtle atmosphere of a traditional hanok at Dongchonjae. Wibongsa, Wibongsanseong, and Wibong Falls are within 10 minutes on foot, and there are many places to enjoy and see, including a fantastic drive course. You can use the outdoor barbecue facilities. The cost of using charcoal and grill is 20,000 won. (If the water outside is frozen in winter and it is difficult to clean the grill, it may be difficult to barbecue.)
