A day like a gift (Welcoming you in the forest, Minjoo Mountain)

'A day like a gift' is an experience-type accommodation located in the forest at the top of Domaryeong (700m above sea level) in Minjujisan, Yeongdong-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. We have remodeled a wooden house (Dalbat House, 2005) and a family-built earthen house (So Young Hall, 2006) for our elderly parents, so that only one team of guests can stay in the entire house. Recently, a tree house (Wol Forest House, 2024) was built on a 6-7 meter-high Japanese cedar tree in the Wol Forest, and this can also be experienced for free. The experience is divided into traditional cultural experiences and ecological experiences, which are offered in a variety of paid and free experiences. The mud house was built with wood, earth, and stone from the moon field, like the mountain village of our ancestors. You can experience lighting a fire in a traditional house, where you can feel the wisdom of a house that is cool and warm. The words 'A day like a gift' are engraved in the merchant room of the mud house. We will try to give everyone who comes here a simple gift called 'a day like a gift'.

This is a private hanok in a secluded village. We recommend it for those who want to spend time with their family or lover, or for those who need to relax and heal in a cozy place. During the day, you can enjoy the scenery of mountains and fields, and at night, you can see the stars sparkling in the sky. The number of people who can stay is 2 people (2 adults) by default. Reservations can be made for up to 2 people until February, and up to 4 people from March. Infants can stay together at no extra charge. If you need extra bedding, please indicate it as an extra person. We always provide freshly laundered bedding. Prepared with organic noodles, gomgok, and pure cotton products. You can cook at the accommodation. However, please refrain from cooking cooking food with strong smells indoors. If you tell us in advance, you can have a barbecue outdoors.
