Altefähr - seaside resort on Rügen on the Strelasund

The seaside resort of Altefähr is located on Germany's largest island of Rügen, on the Strelasund and connected almost all year round by ferry directly to the historic harbor town of Stralsund opposite. The house is part of the Sonnengarten vacation park, just two years old and with the most modern amenities. Our semi-detached house has over 80 square meters on two floors, making it the largest house type, with space for five people. Altefähr is a place for water sports, anglers, any form of active vacation - and beach.

(Completely renovated 07-2017), Stralsund is approx. 150 meters from the beach promenade as the crow flies. The 2.5-room apartment usually accommodates 4 people (alternatively 4 adults and a maximum of 2 small children). Parking is available right in front of the house and can be rented separately on site.

Looking for a low-budget neighborhood, but need your privacy, enough space and feel-good atmosphere on vacation? There is plenty of space here for a good price. "Garden & Sea" has 65 m2 and a separate entrance through its own garden. A car parking space is available directly in front of the house. It is very quiet, only neighboring traffic (branch road). It is located 5 km north of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund. It is only 6 km to the nearest guarded swimming spot (Stadtbad Stralsund).

The Muscheltaucher holiday home (80 m²) is a thatched-roof house with underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove and a sauna (built in 2020). It offers upscale, tasteful and cosy furnishings. A heat pump provides heating and hot water (green electricity from EWS Schönau). Wi-Fi and Netflix are available free of charge. Animal-free non-smoking house. Not suitable for young children: the bedroom is located on the upper floor and can only be accessed via a staircase without a safety gate.

Our exceptional and very spacious apartment (180 sqm) is located in a renovated attic in the heart of the old town. It offers plenty of space for 6 adults. The open ground floor with kitchen, living area, dining area, library, guest toilet and terrace invites you to relax. The upper floor houses 3 large bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, as well as 1 additional bathroom. In two of the bedrooms, a baby crib or a folding bed for older children can be set up (€10/extra bed/night).

A beautiful, modern and rustic, low-energy half-timbered house with thatched roof, Moroccan tiles, oak floorboards and clay plaster walls awaits you. For activities there is a beautiful large garden with a forest swing, free steam sauna, outdoor shower and tub, a standup paddle, a paddle boat and 4 bicycles.

The small guest flat on the ground floor of our detached house is in a prime location in Stralsund with a view of the Strelasund and the island of Rügen and direct access to the Baltic Sea Coastal Cycle Route. It is a one-room apartment with a bathroom and a kitchenette, including a dishwasher and a fully automatic coffee machine. The flat is comfortably furnished and spacious thanks to the wall bed, which can be folded up during the day. A cot is provided on request.

The property is located in a villa in the Hanseatic city of Stralsund, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with its eventful history, unique location on the water and the imposing brick Gothic buildings. Just a 10-minute walk from the train station, an apartment in a convenient location awaits you. After 1 km you are in the center of the old town with the Gothic town hall and other historical sights, the tourist center and numerous restaurants.
