Our cottage

Our cottage is a place for anyone who likes to recharge their batteries in nature - whether as a couple or in the peaceful company of friends and family. You'll find it in an oak and pine forest near Borovany in South Bohemia, in beautiful natural surroundings not far from the Novohradské Mountains. Although it might not look like it at first glance, there are neighbours in the area, but they can't be seen from the cottage. Enjoy sitting by the crackling fireplace with a book and a cup of tea or breakfast on the deck. There is no wifi in the cabin, so enjoy your time really together.

The idyllic cottage in a single courtyard location is located in the middle of an organically cultivated 10,000 m² show garden, which you can enjoy exclusively during your stay. The immediate vicinity to Rosenburg and Burg Gars is ideal for guests who would like to combine their stay with a visit or work on the rich art and cultural events, e.g. the Burg Gars opera. A few minutes from the house, charming wine taverns invite you to enjoy regional wines and specialties. Cycling and hiking trails start right at the door!

Right in the heart of the beautiful Wachau, we would like to warmly welcome you to this new apartment above the rooftops of Weißenkirchen. Enjoy the magnificent views from the vineyards to the Danube. The apartment (approx. 40 m²), built with a lot of love, is located in the quiet, historic old town center and is equipped with underfloor heating, a bathroom/toilet and a kitchenette. Local suppliers, rustic wine taverns and hiking or Bike paths are very close by.

Der schöne Ort Jaidhof mit Schloß und Erholungsteich ist ca. 500m entfernt. Krems an der Donau ist ca. 18 km entfernt. Der Ort Gföhl mit Geschäften und Restaurants ist 1km entfernt. Am Stausee Krumau (10km) hat man die Möglichkeit zu einer Bootsfahrt.

Comfort and relaxation in the LOG CABIN in the forest clearing. Dogs are also welcome. Breakfast is not included in the price; please contact us if required. Whether you have a NÖ-Card or not, we are in a very central location for various tourist attractions such as Sonnentor, Arche Noah, Kittenberg Adventure Gardens and many more. The house is a living space, so noises (e.g., woodworm) and visits from animals (e.g., ladybirds) are possible.

Due to the positive experiences as Airbnb hosts, we converted the smallest barn on our property into a tiny house in 2020-2022. We planned and built everything ourselves and hope our guests will feel comfortable and enjoy their time in Krems and the Wachau!
