If you're looking for a day out, there are some beautiful places to visit in the local area: – Tiilikkajärvi National Park (approx. 30 mins): trails of various lengths through the forest and along the water. – Älänne: A peaceful area with marshes, ridges and lake basins. – Two-person tour: A woodland trail that ends at a viewpoint overlooking the lake. – Pisavuori: A short but steep climb to the viewing tower. Near the house, there are forest paths for peaceful walks – on your own, with your dog, or to clear your mind. You will find the instructions in the cottage folder.

Ranta-Mäntylä

Welcome to relax in the arms of the forest! Ranta-Mäntylä is located on the shore of a beautiful and fishy lake (Kallavesi), surrounded by nature, in the courtyard of our home, just a 25-minute drive from the cities of Kuopio and Leppävirta. The property includes two buildings. The heated cottage comfortably accommodates two people, and a baby/child's extra bed can be found if needed. The sleeping quarters have sleeping accommodations for two during the summer. Guests have access to a barbecue, paddleboard and rowboat. Additional fee for using the hot tub.

Kallavedenranta

A high-quality and atmospheric log villa on the shore of Kallavesi. A quiet, beautiful place with a view of Kallavesi and close to nature. The cottage overlooks a beautiful and illuminated lighthouse. The cottage was built in 2002 and has been well maintained. The property is a regular cottage, not a hotel. Ideal for summer and winter accommodation. There is a rowboat on the beach. The cottage has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, sleeping loft, electric sauna, shower, dressing room, toilet, air heat pump and a large fireplace.

Next to the main cottage, there is a summer sleeping cabin with stunning panoramic lake views. Large windows bring nature indoors everywhere! A huge terrace area connects the main cottage, the sleeping quarters and the pier complex with the jacuzzis on the beach and the lake surrounds everywhere. It's good to be here :).
