A private inn quietly standing on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean The room is 70 square meters in size, and from the large windows you can see the symbolic Phoenix tree and the trees and flora and fauna of the Pacific Ocean, and in the open panorama, the sound of wild birds and the rising sun in the morning, and the sky turns scarlet at dusk when the sun sets... At night, the sound of insects mixed with the roar of the tide is the natural rhythm of this place. The "Moonrise" that shines when the moon is full shines over the sea I think you can feel "a reward for yourself" and "the preciousness of nature" while looking at the moon path and the starry sky. The owner himself designed the house where he lived for many years, and with the help of craftsmen, he has just completed a full renovation [completed R7/September] using natural materials. He created this place with the idea of a place to weave together memories and stories of family, friends, and lovers, away from everyday life on the hill. There is a small beach right down the hill where you can enjoy fishing and swimming. There are also great places for marine sports, golf, touring, and cycling in the surrounding area.

We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. If you don't like insects, it may be difficult to enjoy. The facility is located in a very quiet residential area. Please refrain from having loud conversations in the garden or on the deck after 8 pm.

The house was built in 2005 but the first floor was partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic ocean views. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress if needed (not super comfy). The house is in a residential area so refrain from making loud noise especially after dark. Being surrounded by nature near the ocean, you may occasionally encounter seasonal insects outdoors, particularly around lights at night.
