There are four bedrooms in the house and a maximum of 14 people can stay. There are three free parking spaces. The entrance is electronically locked. Please enter the unlocking number that you will be told after completing your reservation. Since there is no face-to-face key exchange, check-in and check-out are easy. Popular hot spring facilities such as "Hyotan Onsen" and "Kanawa Mushiyu" are located within a few minutes' walk. Please take your time to enjoy Beppu's popular tourist facilities. However, since it is a natural spring, the temperature and water volume vary depending on the season and weather. If necessary, please adjust it with hot water or cold water. 🌸 Location It can be accessed in about 12 minutes by car from Beppu Station. There are plenty of convenience stores, drugstores, supermarkets, and more in the surrounding area. It can be accessed by walking 5 minutes on a flat road from the bus stop. We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. The house was built in 2005 but the first floor was partially renovated in October 2024. There is an outside deck that has panoramic ocean views. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress if needed (not super comfy). The house is in a residential area so refrain from making loud noise especially after dark. Being surrounded by nature near the ocean, you may occasionally encounter seasonal insects outdoors, particularly around lights at night.
