Holiday rentals in La Maná

This was my best hostel experience in Ecuador. Maria and her kind and welcoming family hosted me for two wonderful nights. Maria, who’s taught cooking courses, prepared a delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner for me at an extremely reasonable price. I had found that when other hostels, both in general and on the Quilotoa loop, serve meals, they tend to be quite small. Here, I enjoyed filling, nutritious, Ecuadorian meals. They were also very accommodating of my dietary restrictions (I can’t eat gluten). The room and bathroom were also clean and comfortable. Maria and her family own a small shop too, so if you need anything, you can buy it here (I also got to see their small farm, where I tried some delicious fruit). I feel very fortunate to have stayed here. It is as authentic an experience as you can get. It is all too easy to pass through Ecuador staying in larger, less personal hostels. Here is an excellent opportunity to change that. I give it my strongest recommendation!

Good place to stay if you're doing the Quilotoa hike.

This accommodation is a dream! Arriving at Edmundo's place in a wood-burning stove heated common room after a strenuous hike was very pleasant. We were welcomed with a wonderful vegetarian dish shortly after. The adjoining sauna has rounded off our hiking experience on the Quilotoa run. We would have loved to stay longer, as the home offers so many ways to relax and unwind.

Everything is great. If I go back to Quevedo I will stay there again.

My place is clean and cozy . Everything was very organized. They helped us turn on the fireplace. We left our car until we went through the lagoon without any problem . Breakfast 10/10 . Recommended
