Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lac d'Esparron

We had a great time in this very pleasant, clean and warm house, located in a beautiful environment. Everything was perfectly in order to feel at home. Gigi, our host, was extremely friendly, always available and very helpful. Thank you for everything, we'll be back with pleasure!

Beautiful home and land. Lots of exploring options available on the land / property. Julie was very welcoming and super nice - she even left us a nice chilled bottle of wine upon arrival. Highly reccomend bringing your bike if you are able to. When we asked for Julie’s opinions on what we were doing, she gave us her recommendations. It is a beautiful home and everything we were looking for. Things to note (but do not personally affect my 5 star rating): 1. You are in France - Julie (the host) does not speak English nor Spanish (French only). She’s great at working with google translate. 2. You will find millipedes in the home - it is a country estate. This is partly unavoidable due to location & sometimes it seemed they came through the bottom of front door. 3. Amenities says “Shower Gel” included - please note this is only body wash / douche and not shampoo. 4. The house comes with one toilet paper roll - bring extra if staying and will need more than 1 roll.

Olivier is passionate about astronomy, his passion is quickly contagious in his presence. The space is cozy and comfortable. A nice meeting.

What a fabulous place to stay! Quiet, but walkable to all of Aix centre. We walked to dinner every night and came back to a peaceful house with a private backyard and pool. Having parking was a huge benefit and management team of Emma and Silvio was so helpful. Emma was very responsive. We fit 8 people comfortably with 3 couples and 2 singles.

We had a great time! The accommodation is very well equipped, with many things available, which makes it very convenient and comfortable. The outdoor space is really nice, perfect for relaxing. Stéphane welcomed our two dogs without a problem, which we really appreciated. Our kids loved the games, books, and activities, both indoors and out. The garage for our bikes was a real plus. Anyway, everything was perfect — thanks again!

Very beautiful cottage well arranged and lovingly decorated, we love chickens:) Great care is taken to the details and the hosts are very friendly.

Lana and her husband were very welcoming and we appreciated their delicate touches. They are very discreet and at the same time available to meet our possible needs. The accommodation is comfortable and in a great location for visiting the surrounding area. Our only regret is the weather which was not very mild and prevented us from enjoying the exteriors to the fullest... Despite this, we had a lovely stay. We recommend. Fanny's cottage is very well placed. Everything is within easy walking distance and really close! The environment is peaceful. The house is really convenient with nice amenities. We'll come back if we get a chance for sure. Fanny had sent us clear information with photos to arrive and everything went spotlessly. Recommended ++

The stairs were a concern for us. I did not realize when I booked that beds were upstairs and bathroom was downstairs. Stairs are very narrow; you have to come down sideways. Probably not a good place for older people, though we got used to it and did fine (age 75). Kitchen was very well equipped with nice things. Olive oil, salt and pepper were appreciated. We walked and drove up to Roussillon easily. Beautiful area!

This is such a beautiful cabin in southern France. You can tell Emma is a designer because the apartment is decorated so well, with natural wood and reeds and lovely soft linens. The beds were super comfortable and the cottage felt very luxurious. The property is amazing, waking up to bird songs and doing a morning stretch in the sun on the porch was heavenly. Being visited by the dog and cats was my favorite part! We cooked a lot and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was a 50min drive to Cassis and we enjoyed a day at the beach Emma recommended in her guide which was a little over an hour away. I definitely recommend renting a car as it would be difficult to get around otherwise. I can’t wait to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pool!

Lovely little house with everything you need for a successful stay! The host was able to answer any questions we had and allowed a pleasant stay. Very comfortable bedding and fully equipped kitchen. The pool area is a great plus for the place.

This is a spacious one bedroom bungalow with its own driveway and secluded courtyard, which has appropriately placed tables and chairs to take advantage of the sun. Inside is a modern kitchen/diner with all the electrical appliances required for comfortable cooking and eating. The bedroom is large and the bed is super king size so plenty of space here. Between the kitchen and the bedroom is a relaxing area with a large sofa and TV if required. We spent most of the day out touring the beautiful Var. We made lunch our main meal wherever we were and had bread and cheese with a glass of wine at the house in the evenings. Sandrine met us on arrival, gave us the key and showed us around the house. We prefer to keep to ourselves on holidays so it was lovely that Sandrine respected our solitude. We didn't see her again as we had to leave early on the last morning to catch a plane home. We would definitely recommend this property for those who enjoy peace in a tranquil location.

We had a pleasant week in Cabriès, the location of the cottage is ideal if you are looking for calm while staying close to Marseille/Aix. Sylvie is very available. We would not hesitate to return when we are in the area.

Great stay at Karen's in her beautiful, tastefully decorated home! We are good there, the beds are large and comfortable, we appreciate the shower and the large bathtub! The barbecue is clean and of quality brief stay at the top to repeat!

What an amazing place! The apartment and swimming pool are beautiful and the perfect location to relax and slow down. Sandrine was the perfect host, welcoming and providing plenty of information. Her two golden retrievers were a delight to see every day, they welcomed my Labrador in to the family straight away and were gentle and well behaved dogs. Highly recommend this stay and I hope to return someday soon!

A warm welcome from Serge and his wife. Superb accommodation with top-notch amenities and a splendid garden. Small touches (wine, homemade jam, drinks, biscuits, etc.) are heartwarming and tips for visiting the region allowed us to have a pleasant stay with our two small dogs. Thank you for everything.

The apartment is very nice and tastefully decorated. There's nothing missing. The living-dining room is chic, the bed comfortable, the kitchen perfectly equipped and the bathroom great! Everything is very clean and well maintained. Another highlight is the beautiful balcony with fragrant orange bushes. Check-in is by key box, so you are independent in time. The very quiet location in the village was perfect for us. Within walking distance you can reach the center with several beautiful restaurants and shops. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be happy to come back!

We had a very pleasant stay in this great place. The exterior was also very appreciated for its tranquility, but also for its beauty. Its location allowed us to easily discover and visit the beautiful landscapes of the Verdon (many beautiful villages nearby). For athletes, there are many hiking/trail trails nearby. We thank our hosts who were very welcoming, responsive and caring. We had fun staying at their place and discovering this area. Thanks!

Great stay at Dominique's! Heated and very well-maintained pool and hot tub. All amenities are available and the house complies with the photos. We recommend it without hesitation if you want to visit the South!

The chateau was everything we thought it was going to be and more! It is a stunning property in a beautiful location within walking distance to shops, bakeries etc. Jacques was an incredible host who organised all of our taxis over the weekend, as well as a private chef, and he was really friendly and responsive. We had a really special weekend for my friends hen do as a group of 12 girls and I couldn’t recommend this property and Jacques enough.
