Welcome to Moose Mansion, our peaceful A-Frame escape sitting just off the North Fork of the Colorado River. We're just minutes from the historic downtown Grand Lake, the East entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, hunting, fishing, world-class snowmobiling, sailing, SO MANY MOOSE, and much more. We renovated the cabin to bring all the comforts of home to our "home away from home" in the mountains. Our family has made many memories here, and we're hopeful you'll be able to do the same.

Entire brand new, modern & bright cabin. We lost the cabin in 2020 in one of the largest wildfires in Colorado history, and just finished rebuilding. What we lost from the seclusion of trees, we gained in 360 degree views of Kawuneeche Valley & Rocky Mountain National Park. Nature has rebounded quickly & you will see abundant wildlife grazing the meadow, with moose and elk visiting daily. You can snowmobile/ATV from cabin to trails in less than 10 min. 4WD/AWD HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Winter.

Sit back and relax in our 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin. The cabin is 10 minutes from the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, 10 minutes from cross-country/snowshoeing/snowmobile trails, 2 minutes from mountain lakes (for boating, fishing, and skiing), 25 minutes from Ski Granby, and 40 minutes from Winter Park Ski. After enjoying the outdoors, return to a cozy fire or enjoy wildlife from the patios. Long driveway for multiple cars. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by family.

Nestled on a hilltop with gorgeous snow capped mountain views. Your cozy mountain getaway awaits with a hot tub surrounded by mountain views, porch swing, wild life, vinyls and record player, grill with outdoor dining, spacious deck + fire pit, lake views, colorful sunsets, fully geared up kitchen, and 12 minutes drive to Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. That Dam Cabin, too!

This historic yet modern 500 square foot cabin was built in 1932 for men working on the Shadow Mountain dam. When we found it, we knew this would be the perfect getaway for us and wanted others to share this experience too. Our cabin is 4 miles from downtown Grand Lake! It's a short drive to restaurants, shops, hiking, fishing, the beach and kayak/boat rentals. Head to the Rocky Mountain National park to hike and see wildlife or stay home and enjoy s'mores around the fire.

Afterward, pop over Estes' best restaurants a few minutes away, and come home to this calm, stylish space and enjoy the wood burning fireplace or watch the stars or wildlife from the deck.
