The Greenwood Getaway

Whether you're into fishing, swimming, being cozy near the fire, or watching the stars from your wood-fired hot tub (it takes some work, but we promise it is worth it!), you can find your kind of fun at the Greenwood Getaway. We bought this cabin and renovated it to the way that our family would enjoy it most, and we've loved it so much that we can't help but want to share it with others. Welcome to our newly renovated cabin near the shores of Lake Manitoba! Our family loves spending time here and we are excited to share it with you. In the summer enjoy the sandy beach (its only a short 5 minute walk!), the outdoor fire pit and air conditioned cabin. In winter, opportunities abound for ice fishing on the lake, using snowmobile trails and enjoying the cozy atmosphere provided by the indoor wood stove. Of course, the outdoor hot tub is a highlight no matter what time of the year!

PETE’S PLACE

Farm Cottage near Steep Rock. Cottage is 7 km (5 min drive) to the village of Steep Rock, and is a paved highway (currently under construction 2024) It's a great area for canoeing, kayaking, and boating on the lake, swimming and photography. Cottage has a deck with a BBQ, and a fire pit and hammocks in the yard. In Winter you can cross country ski or snowshoe on the property. Occasionally you can see the northern lights, generally in Winter. There is now also a sauna for guests.

Welcome to Sunrise View. Stay in comfort with space for all in this 3 bdrm plus den with dining table. Open concept Kitchen has a large stone topped island that seats 4 overlooking the living room w/Smart TV. Or if you need to tuck away from the action, sit in the back den or deck overlooking the wetlands of Lake Francis & catch the majestic sunrise. Just across the road from the public beach on the desirable Twin Lakes Beach, with sandy beach & swimming area & stunning sunsets.

The cabin is newly renovated and sleeps 7 (max 5 adults). The cabin is equipped with wifi, cell phone service, and 2 televisions with access to Netflix and Prime Video .
