Lakeside cabin on pristine Diamond Lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest area just outside of Cable, Wisconsin. The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

The cedar-sided exterior features log and stone accents and a covered, handicap accessible, concrete walkway leading to the front door. The sun soaked, wooden deck has two built-in benches, charcoal grill and picnic table overlooking the lake.

Our spot is 15 miles from the ski and mountain bike trails at Mt. Telemark Village, seven miles from the CAMBA Namekagon cluster of mountain bike trails and 30 miles from Lake Superior. Charming Cabin on Beautiful Lake Owen

Lake Owen is known for crystal-clear water and stretches 9 miles long in Southern Bayfield County. The cabin has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a Queen Bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a TV and internet is available. The cabin is about 2 feet from the lake and the view off the porch is one of my favorite anywhere on the lake. Get ready for Beautiful Sunsets.
