Come enjoy the sunset on the porch of this modern cabin located in the country away from the hustle and noise of the city. Our cabin is located in a field next to grazing livestock. This cabin offers plenty of patio seating, a king size bed and a loft with twin beds. Our kitchenette is equipped with a hot plate and basic utensils for preparing a simple meal. A microwave and mini fridge are included. There is not an oven. There is a gas grill which is shared with both cabins.

The German Schmear Cottage is tucked away on a quiet street in the Mountainview area. It is centrally located (HEB, Target, and Starbucks are right down the road) and only 10-15 minutes from downtown, the Silos, and Baylor. Once a detached garage, this 400 square foot space is now a cozy, modern living space and is on the property of the main German Schmear (fixer upper) house, which is also a vacation rental. Relax in the rockers on the cute front porch for some true “recreation.” The adjacent kitchen dining area is well equipped for cooking with a small size refrigerator, stove, microwave and coffee/tea station. The cottage has a simple but elegant country home feel. There is a large swing nestled in the large pecan trees that is fun for thrill seekers.

It's called "Brazos Bluffs Ranch" because it rises from grassy meadows on the river through dense woods to bluffs towering 120' overlooking miles of the river valley. The house is in a quiet cul de sac neighborhood. The property has a fenced backyard. Small, house-trained dogs are welcome upon request. (Extra cleaning fees apply) This quaint and lovely two bedroom house is a 5 min walk from the lake and the Lake Waco Dam and walking path or a 5 mile drive to Baylor McLane Stadium and the Magnolia Silos. The Waco regional airport and Hawaiian Falls water park is approx. 3.7 miles away.
