Close to the Lakeport State Park (2 miles north), Fort Gratiot County Park (2 miles south) and several other public beaches, golf courses, shopping, and many other attractions! Property is shared by 2 other Airbnb’s houses that are also available to rent. Parking is shared. No pets allowed

Escape to nature in this off grid cabin, tucked away on a quiet, private lot just a short walk from Shay Lake. With no electricity it's the perfect spot to unplug and enjoy the simple pleasures of outdoors. This cabin (Josephine) includes a full size bed (waterproof encasement that's sanitized), access to Shay Lake (coordinate with host) fire pit with cooking supplies, covered picnic area, horseshoe pit, new portajohn, outdoor shower, games. 2nd cabin (Shirley) available for groups.

WHAT IS LAKE LUNA CABIN.... Our cabin was hand built with Oak logs from the property and Yellow Pine logs from Montana and Wyoming. Go fishing, swimming, hiking, canoeing (bring your own), exploring Enjoy watching deer, turkey, pheasants and nesting bald eagles. Hoses too! Plenty of frogs to catch (and release) and turtles to view. You will also find nesting Eastern Bluebirds around the property. Ducks and gees of all types visit the property. Enjoy the water fountain as well!

Inside, you’ll find two bedrooms, queen-size bed in a master bedroom, twin over full size bunk bed making it ideal for families or small groups. Including living room, kitchenette and bathroom.
