Holiday rentals in Lamothe-Fénelon

We absolutely loved our week long stay at the loft Corps de Garde in April. The apartment was even better than described in the listing and was very clean, comfortable and cozy.. The location was excellent and free parking nearby was a plus. A special thanks to Nelly who was very responsive to all of our requests and questions. We highly recommend the apartment!

We had a wonderful stay here: the place is spacious and we felt right at home. It’s even lovelier than we expected. The beds were really comfy. Andrea and Martine were extremely helpful and available at all times. The location is wonderful, the best we’ve ever stayed in. The short walk to the front door is very steep, and the stairs down to 2 bedrooms are old and uneven; having said this, we’d love to return here, and eat again at La Petite Tonnelle!

We had a great week at Aurélie's. The accommodation is as described. The setting is peaceful. The garden, terrace and pool are perfect for quietly enjoying your evenings and mornings before going for a walk. Lots of points of interest and activities nearby. Aurélie is very welcoming. The accommodation is very well-equipped (everything you need for the kitchen, extension cord, multi-sockets...).

Nathalie and Denis were incredibly accomodating to our group in the lead up to our stay as we had a pre-wedding event to attend and requested an early check in so that we could settle into the house and get ready. Arriving at the house was absolutely breathtaking and did the surrounding area complete justice! Having Nathalie and Denis living on the property too was quite helpful and the house we stayed in still felt very private, including the ability to use the pool and pool house! The house interior was beautiful and it was lovely to feel at home in a typical French house. Only minor thing to note are that there are cats on the property, who are very sweet and friendly but may be an issue if you are allergic to cats. Overall my group and I were so pleased to have been able to stay at this house and couldn’t recommend it more!!!

Very nice welcome from Pascal and Odile. With a smile, Pascal took the time to inform us about the region and what might interest us. During the stay, Pascal and Odile remained available. A quiet place, surrounded by nature, with birdsong. We feel alone in the world! On the grounds of Pascal and Odile's house, but secluded. A peaceful and refreshing place. Recommended without hesitation!

We stayed for a week at Blandine's on her farm in the middle of nature. The accommodation we occupied was very nice, fresh thanks to its stone construction in particular (despite a certain heat outside) and we could as indicated on the listing go see the animals (cow, sheep, chickens, etc.) and listen to nature in the evening on the terrace without any noise pollution. You can still do your shopping at a maximum of 15 minutes by car. Thanks for staying!

Christine and her husband are very welcoming and responsive. They gave us some great tips on restaurants and sightseeing in the area. The cottage matches the photos and is great for a vacation. With the pool right next door, the setting is conducive to relaxation.

We had a fantastic few days at Patric’s and wish we could have stayed longer! Very tranquil gîte and beautiful surroundings. Great base for exploring the Dordogne. Patric was very helpful and friendly. We hope to come again!
