Staying here was such a unique and enriching experience. The attention to detail in the decor made the space feel warm, welcoming, and incredibly well thought out—every corner had character and charm. One of the highlights was spending time with the animals, which added a wholesome, calming touch to the stay. The hosts were not only gracious but also engaging—conversations flowed easily, and I left feeling like I’d learned so much about their lifestyle and values. The outdoor activities were clearly planned with care and offered a perfect way to connect with nature and unwind. Truly a stay that nourishes both the body and mind. Highly recommend!

Our stay at “The Loft” was exceptional and ideal for a couple’s getaway. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, with clear instructions provided. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor deck, and the beautifully designed loft space. The interior decor, thoughtful room layout, and attention to detail were truly impressive. Communication with Alison was excellent throughout our stay. When we accidentally left a few personal items behind, she promptly reached out and kindly offered to arrange for them to be returned. Overall, this was a five-star experience, and we would gladly consider staying here again in the future. Highly recommended.

There are nice people, and then there are Susan and Ray—truly exceptional hosts. We stayed from February 15th to 17th, during a snowstorm. Due to the severe weather and poor road conditions, we had to stay indoors for most of our trip. Susan went out of her way to help us in various ways, making our experience even better, and we truly appreciated it. The place itself is perfect for privacy, surrounded by beautiful nature with great hiking trails. The barn, with its horses, adds a magical touch to the experience. Thank you, Susan and Ray, for your kindness and hospitality!

I always look forward to my stays at Erik and Lise Anne’s. they are always very gracious and helpful. Response time for issues is great. Donna, the co host, is magnificent and so kind. The kind of place that makes you feel like your home away from home. Will return many times!
