The Prairie Cottage

The chalet is located in a very quiet area surrounded by woodland, with forest walking trails just 200 metres away. New check-in time of 7 pm and check-out time of 2 pm for greater flexibility, following high demand 😉 Covered outdoor terrace with sofa and armchair for good relaxation. We are 45 minutes from the nearest ski resorts. Our home is 10 metres away, so we will be able to advise you and respond quickly if there are any problems. All that’s left to do is book 😊.

Authentic Alpine Chalet

Authentic alpine chalet called "Le Veillou" dating from 1931 and which was once used as a surveillance post for the first ski slopes of VILLARD-DE-LANS. Located on the heights of the village, at a place called "Les Cochettes". Ideal location for the start of many hikes (Col Vert, Cascade de la Fauge, etc.) and 5 min drive to downtown. The chalet has retained its old-fashioned charm with the comforts necessary for a stay in atypical and natural surroundings.

Great for hiking 7 kms from Col de l 'Arzelier, near Gresse en vercors 10 kms, 25 km from Lake Monteynard and 13 km from Monestier de Clermont (where shops are located: intermarket, bakery, pharmacy...) Pets not allowed. For any electric vehicle charging, please let me know. Indeed, the rental does not include recharging.
