Sleeping rocked by the sound of the waves, or watch, without leaving the bed, the sun reflected in the sea at dawn; dine on the terrace by moonlight feeling the caress of the breeze ... are unforgettable experiences that this house guarantees. The house is very bright and faces the sea. The terrace of the living room has a dining table with room for six people, and the master bedroom terrace has a hammock for sunbathing, relax and enjoy the view or just reading a good book. And how far is the beach? Well, just beside the house! Just open the door and you can go down to the beach or to the rocky surfaces located under the house, with magnificent natural platforms for sunbathing and spectacular “charcones” studded with small marine life. Salinetas is a quiet beach where you can relax, rest, practice water sports, cycling, hiking, all in a very unique and familiar. To the north, a pedestrian maritime promenade connects with the beaches of Melenara , Taliarte , “Playa del Hombre” and “La Garita”. The Promenade features restaurants and terraces where you can taste the cuisine of the area, including the highly recommended "gofio escaldado" or the "papas con mojo”. “Playa del Hombre” is one of the most suitable beaches on the island for surfing. To the south you'll find small coves like “Silva” or “Aguadulce”, or the incredible fishing village of “Tufia”, with its cave houses and its archaeological site, remains of pre-hispanic inhabitants of the island. A little further south, the seaside village of “Ojos de Garza”, the vast bay of “Gando”, and the beaches of “El Cabrón” and “Arinaga”, whose seabed is considered the best in Spain for diving. "Las Clavellinas", the town where the house is integrated has little shops and supermarkets. By car or taking the bus, at a short distance from the house, you can be reached within 5 minutes to the largest shopping and leisure areas of the island, the golf course of “El Cortijo” and the airport itself. The access time to Telde´s historic core is about 10 minutes, 15 to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, capital of the island, and about 30 to Maspalomas. Las Claras Rural House

Casa Las Claras has three double rooms, two with double beds and the third with two single beds. Each room has its own bathroom, and there's also a living room, a kitchen and an indoor Canarian courtyard. Outside, there's private parking, gardens, leisure and reading areas, and a large terrace with a swimming pool. Although it may seem large, the house can be adapted in a very cosy way for two people, who will feel right at home. However, bookings for special events are not accepted and parties are not allowed. We'd also like to mention that we, the hosts, live on the other side of the house and share the pool terrace with our guests. Although we don't really use it, if guests are using it, we need to pass through this area to get in and out of our house. We also share the inner courtyard area, which is a transit area for us at certain times of the day. It's ideal for children, as they have space to run and play, as well as a corner with beach sand. The house has satellite TV, a DVD player, and a washing machine service for stays of over a week... Bed linen and towels are available for stays of more than one week. Far from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism, the property is located in the village of Tías. It's a very quiet place with easy access to the village centre. You can walk there in ten minutes and find supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, a health centre, and of course, La Ermita de San Antonio, where there are usually lovely exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, etc. To enjoy the surrounding countryside, just behind the house there are a number of trails, which are part of the island's network of trails, and which will give you wonderful views and a pleasant walk. There's also a public transport stop less than five minutes away. From here, it's easy to visit the island. It's almost in the centre, and the longest journey takes 30 minutes by car. The nearest beaches are Puerto del Carmen, which can be reached in 10 minutes, and Papagayo, 30 minutes away, both ideal beaches with golden sand.
