Perfect for large families or groups of friends - all within a peaceful village setting with panoramic views of the Pyrenees. The house is full of authentic French character - Antique furniture, inglenook fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling wine barrels in the bar (unfortunately empty!) all add to the unique charm of Au Balenti.

Our gite is in a small village it’s 5 kms from the town of Plaisance. And 15 kms from Marciac and the largest European Jazz festival.

Twenty years ago, I fell in love with this corner of Occitania: the charm of the vineyards, the valleys as far as the eye can see, the calm, the building to be restored. I designed this house to accommodate our many friends and family. With Laurence, we bargain-hunted all the decorative objects, invented different decors for each room and created the comfort and cocoon atmosphere we dreamed of for our vacation. See you soon.

Our recently renovated cottage is located 200 m from a lake, surrounded by nature in a relaxing setting conducive to disconnection. Adjacent to our small farm, you can admire our animals and enjoy country living. A large communal above-ground pool is at your disposal as well as a game room with foosball. After a hike or cultural visits to the surroundings (Cirque de Gavarnie, Pont d'Espagne, Pyrenees passes and lakes or the International Jazz Festival in Marciac, wine route) you can relax on the terrace facing the garden, quietly, in the heart of the countryside.

Guests can take advantage of its functionality with its equipped kitchen (fridge, induction stove, oven, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, microwave), shower room. For animal lovers we have a small family parrot farm. We also breed Australian Shepherds.
