Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lazzaro

This is an amazing house on a beachfront road in a charming little town. There is a small square in walking distance that has a nice bar/coffee shop and restaurant. The house itself is lovely with very comfortable beds and amazing views both of the ocean out the front door and balcony, and of Mt Etna out of the two back balconies. Bedrooms are good sized with two full baths on the first floor and a half bath with the bedroom on the second floor. We had 5 adults in our group and never felt cramped. WiFi is good. Hosts are very friendly and helpful and very responsive to questions and give a good list of local attractions and restaurants to try. House is in an area with easy access to both Catania and Taormina, both about 35-45 minutes away by car. Would definitely stay here again if ever back in the area.

Gorgeous, gorgeous. Lovely sandy pubic beach out front, and a lovely space within. After traveling for many months, we were happy to have a good kitchen. Super quiet. A good value within the area (of wealthy resorts). The place smells very clean. Book it!

Anita is a great host. The apartment is amazing. Great location in the city centre. Spotlessly clean. 2 balconies, small back garden. Well ecquipped. A few minutes to the parking ( porta catania)

Antonio’s place is really beautiful and peaceful, and I do recommend it to everyone looking for a zen experience in the middle of the nature! A peaceful house in the middle of the nature!

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

We were really happy to have booked Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place during our trip to Sicily! We planned to visit mount Etna and avoid the crazy traffic and noise of the bigger cities that we had been experiencing in Sicily , so the place was a perfect choice as it is around 30m by car to it. It is also accessible to visit Taormina and Siracusa. The house is extremely comfortable, with all the necessary amenities, beautifully decorated and clean! The hosts are very kind and responsive, we ended up taking longer for our check in than planned and they were supper accommodating towards us. We recommend Emanuela e Mariagiovanna's place for your Sicily trip!

Excellent hosting by Tiziana, the accommodation is perfect, very clean and functional. Full of little touches from Tiziana, we made fresh orange juice, the kids enjoyed themselves. Very good coffee. We visited the Cape of Milazzo and took a trip to Stromboli, the location of the accommodation is perfect. Private parking for car. Small supermarket 30 seconds walk if needed. Thanks a lot

Thanks to Alberto and his dad who guided us wonderfully upon arrival. The small house is very well located, in a very quiet alley. It was very clean and well-equipped. The only downside is that the house is too small to have a living room, but we only stayed there to sleep. The location is ideal for visiting the surrounding area (Taormina and Castelmola). I recommend it;)

Beautiful villa at the base of Mt. Etna. Very large pool and garden. Nadia and her family are close by and very responsive / always willing to help. The location is great as it is close to the volcano and a 15 min drive to the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

Best place we have stayed in italy,and we have been going for several years. Marco was very attentive and helpful.. A real gem.

We stayed 2 weeks and it was a great base for exploring the east side of Sicily and Etna. A hire car is essential as the apartment is located in a quiet spot away from the main centres. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with great views from the wrap around balcony. The swimming pool was a real bonus - we made use of it most days. Salvatore & Antonio were very helpful and responsive to requests (many thanks!). Highly recommended if, like us, you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

Magical place in the middle of nature with a magnificent view. Etna in the background, and a very welcoming and available host. I recommend it!

We stayed for a week at 6 people on the upstairs part of the house. The apartment does not fully match the photos since a bedroom has been added to the living room … but the living room remains very spacious. There were no shutters ( and no opaque curtains in the living room) which is a shame when you sleep in the living room and the sun rises at 6 a.m. ... and especially to cut off the sun when it's very hot . The kitchen was not sufficiently equipped rather rustic Thankfully Sonia was responsive to our requests. The A/C was essential but not good enough to refresh the rooms. I would say that the apartment is worth it for the terrace and the view of Taormina and the tranquility if there are people on the ground floor ( this apartment must be more suitable for a long stay). The exteriors are really magical and very enjoyable during the heatwave they are also very well maintained .

We spent a 10 day vacation here as a group of friends. Already upon arrival we were overwhelmed by the beauty of property and surroundings: located in the beautiful lemon grove overlooking the slopes of Mount Etna and the sea. It couldn't get any better! Boredom never arose, the area offers a lot! However, a car is important. There was also always something to do on the property: beautiful pool, ping pong table, foosball, football or cooking in the great kitchen... and always fresh lemons. Maria Gulia and Angelo are super friendly and often helped us with tips and quick answers. The villa is an absolute recommendation!!

The view is utterly spectacular. I will remember sitting on that patio eating breakfast for the rest of my life. Giulia is very responsive. Her parents, who live above, are very sweet and friendly. The layout worked for us - one of the bedrooms is connected to another one, so if you have young kids it's perfect to be near them. it's a 1K walk to town which we did everyday and found it delightful. it's away from the most touristy part of town and you pass a grocery store on the way to Porta Messina so it's actually quite convenient. You'll also pass the stairs to the Lumbini parking lot where a lot of the Etna tours pick up. the pool was fabulous - the pool deck also has a cornucopia of fruit trees, then there are the chickens and the aviaries. it's honestly unforgettable.

Danku Rosa en Leo, You have welcomed us incredibly warmly! Immediately given a tour of the beautiful domain, so that we felt right at home. Every day Rosa passed for a while to ask if everything was good and if we needed anything, never intrusive, always ready to help. Despite the language barrier, rosa made sure we could understand each other. You have a beautiful house, a blooming garden, cozy corners everywhere, an outdoor kitchen with grill and pizza oven! A little paradise! Rosa gave us tips in the area, so that we ended up in the most beautiful places. Thank you for everything!

I would give this 6 stars if I could. The place is fabulous. A huge apartment (250 square meters), beautifully appointed (lovely pictures and tapestries), very close to the ferry dock (most people will come here to visit the islands), impeccably clean, and extremely functional. Domenico is one of those unusual, really caring hosts. He guided me to the parking space and then drove me back to the apartment. He allowed us to stay late on departure day since there weren't any bookings for that day. Great place and great host, recommended in the strongest possible terms.

we spent 2 weeks in the villa .It has the most stunning views of mount Etna . The villa has everything you need for a comfortable stay including a well equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen .The pool area is beautiful with lemon and orange trees .All of which you can pick and enjoy throughout your stay .It's a shirt walk into town where there are a couple of restaurants and coffee shops .There's also a supermarket . You can use the local bus and there is also a hop.on hop off tourist bus .This will take you to the tourist hot stops .We had a car which we would recommend as it allows you to explore the whole area . Parking is on the property and very secure .Giovanni was very helpful ,friendly and was very responsive when we had questions .We had a wonderful stay in the villa and felt it was great value for money . I, my wife and our 10-11 month baby had a fantastic one month stay at Villa Britannia. The beautiful villa had everything we looked for: great location, a lovely garden (in which "The Snake" by DH Lawrence was written), a big kitchen (great for perfecting Pasta alla Norma), seaview and parking (the large garage could easily fit our quite long estate car). Louisa and her husband Marco are lovely people and provided service on a far higher level than most Airbnb-hosts. Any minor issues were quickly sorted out. Louisa would bring us wines to try and proactively let us know about events in town or traffic challenges, as well as giving great recommendations and help with any problem. We were provided with a baby cot, a baby bath, several (!) baby chairs and lots of toys. Could not ask for more. We really hope to be back one day!

Lovely stay in a beautiful, peaceful location with gorgeous pool, views of Mount Etna and easy access to Savoca, Taormina, Etna, Alcantara Gorge and the coast. Very nice breakfast by the pool on our last day. Highly recommended.

The place is amazing! 2 steps from the city center on foot with beaches and shops but in the middle of quiet fruit trees with a very nice garden! Melania has lots of special touches that make the stay very pleasant! Lemons oranges and berries to make a squeezed juice in the morning or for a little fresh break! Very pleasant stay 15 mins from Taormina. Melania and her husband are very warm;)

Robert was very friendly and always available for a chat. You can tell that his heart is on the house. Great, very well maintained and large garden with views of the Etna, orange, banana trees, palm trees. Really very nice and quiet.

I immediately felt at home! Very kind and nice. House located in a quiet area, near Milazzo. Very large and cozy house! Complete with everything!

Antonella was an excellent host. She did not mind at all that we arrived a bit later than expected because of delays, and in fact was really happy to show us around the apartment and the magnificent terrace. The view from the apartment is quite something. The kitchen and bathroom are both well furnished. But the best part has to be the roof terrace. Beautifully tended with luxurious plants everywhere; a 100+ years old cactus "Il Nonno", a rocking bench and some shade if the sun is hitting too hard. It was a great spot to rest after a hard excursion on the Etna or for a longer breakfast in the morning. Grazie per tutto Antonella.
