Chalet Bellavista - a balcony on Swiss Alps

This small, private Swiss chalet is cozy comfortable retreat for one or two persons. The balcony offers a magnificent view of the Rhone Valley and Swiss Alps of Valais. Ideal for nature-lovers or those who simply want to just get away to relax and breathe in the Swiss mountain air. The chalet acts a point of depart for mountain walks or hikes, bike riding, snowshoeing or even cross country skiing in the winter time. Ski slopes and thermal baths can be reached in around 30 minutes by car.

A calm and cosy apartment (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) within walking distance of the ski slopes. Located on the uppermost (2nd) floor and facing south, it has a wonderful view of the mountains from either of the two balconies. It can easily accommodate 4 people with its 85m² and 2 bedrooms, each of them with its bathroom. The first room has a king size bed, while the second one has 2 single beds which can be combined if needed. Recent kitchen. Access to a garage is included in the booking.

We are located 5 mins from the "leysin village" train station by foot . **IMPORTANT**No parking space onsite included with reservation. **FREE Parking** at the railway station opposite the platform(200m) or chemin de l'ancienne forge(300m) - not guaranteed especially during high season however all previous guests found something.

Rainbow Apartment

The apartment is part of the annex built in 1950 at the paternal cottage. This cottage was built in 1850 by my great-grandfather, my grandparents lived there and my dad and his sister were born there. The apartment has been slightly renovated, it is furnished simply and functionally. In front of the chalet, there is a grassy plot, which was long the vegetable garden and the only source of income for my grandmother who became a widow prematurely.

Ideally located, the apartment is very close to shops and restaurants. The village center is a 5-minute walk away and a free bus is available to take you, in 3 minutes, to the cable car. A rack railway connects Leysin to Aigle.
