At an altitude of 1,200 metres, on a ridge in the middle of the volcanic Cantal mountains, you wake up to the sound of cows mooing and birds singing. No traffic noise — just open air and a sweeping view over the valley. From the house, you can step directly onto hiking trails towards the Puy Mary. Inside, there is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with box spring beds and a pellet stove for the cool mountain evenings. Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Ideally located on the GR400 in an old renovated farmhouse. The calm of the surrounding nature, the view of the Claux valley and the surrounding mountains make this place a peaceful oasis. As soon as you walk through the door, cyclists, mountain bikers, hikers, riders or paragliders, you're on your way. And after this nature bath, an outdoor relaxation area with sauna and Nordic bath awaits you (by reservation and with surcharge).

The outdoor space, on the sunny side (the sunniest side of the mountain) is vast, with meadow and forest and the swimming pool (10 X 5 M).
