Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lead

I come out to the Stock Show each year for 7 years now. This is the FIRST place that has left a welcoming goodie bag. SO neat. Then, we got to meet them in person and they are the most fun couple. The roads were bad in Rapid, and Tasha came to pick me up at the Stock Show. Such wonderful people and hosts! Very genuine.

Very helpful, friendly host. House was easy to get to & close to activities. Beds were very comfortable & house was very accommodating. Everything they said it was plus more. Enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend this home & the hosts.

"Home Away From Home" was a very accurate description. We felt like we were staying with family. Our dogs loved the big, open yard to play ball and decompress after a long day of dog sports competitions. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. The owl theme in the house was a lot of fun. Ali, the host was amazing. She was very good at communicating and super responsive. When we walked in the house, it smelled awesome and was very clean. There were fresh flowers on the island. It was very refreshing to stay in such a welcoming home. Ali did all of the little things to make us feel like we were coming home at the end of a long day, and not just renting a hotel room. Thank you Ali for such an amazing experience!

We had a great stay at Ariana's place in Spearfish! It was a clean and lovely home in a quiet neighborhood close to everything in Spearfish. A bonus (as listed) was the *private* fenced in backyard for our dogs, which we always appreciate. 🐕 The home was also a great value! We will definitely stay (and recommend others to stay) at Ariana's place again when we visit Spearfish in the future 😊

I really liked the house as did my daughter. It was spotless, neat and the owners had obviously gone out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. It was the perfect place to stay whilst we visited Mount Rushmore, Custer Park, Deadwood etc… handy restaurants just down the road as well as a supermarket basically perfect for our stay in Rapid city..

Had a wonderful time. Lots of things to see and do. I would recommend it to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at Sue's place! Sue was very communicative throughout our stay and her home was beautiful! Great location for sightseeing around Rapid City. We would definitely return.

Great location. Loved walking the city trails by the stream and seeing the deer every time we went for a walk. Enjoyed walking to the Saturday farmers market. Sue was quick to respond to any questions.

We had a wonderful stay at Sophie’s Airbnb! The space was immaculately clean, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable. The bed was incredibly cozy, and we had everything we needed to feel right at home. Sophie and her husband were fantastic hosts, offering clear instructions and being very responsive throughout our stay. It’s clear they put a lot of care into their Airbnb and truly care about your experience. They were also very dog-friendly! We would gladly return in the future!

We very highly recommend this place! Teresa was a delight to deal with. Very personable She was so attentive to making sure we knew what events was going on in the area. She even sent us recommendations on trails that we should do when hiking. The bonus though was Willie the dog! He greeted us every afternoon as we pulled in and was ready to play ball Will definitely stay there again if we ever get to go back in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay for a night here. The place was absolutely fantastic for what it was worth. I FaceTimed my mother and she even loved it. On the way there it was a bit confusing but that’s on us! Kathy gave clear instructions on how to get there and check in. She was super welcoming and helpful soon as we arrived. Kathy is a great host and we’d be looked forward to stay again sometime in the future!

I visited Angies place for a weekend birthday trip and immediately felt right at home. She was very friendly and even surprised me and my party with gormet cupcakes! The linens and furniture were very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with basic ingredients and even a few snacks. A great location for visiting the great outdoors of the Black Hills!

Clear communication on the stay, check in and out process! Everything in the home was clean and organized and in a great spot!

We had a great time. The house was exactly as described. Very clean and beautiful. If anything it felt much bigger than shown in the photos. April was on lightning top of any questions we had and always very helpful. We would definitely come again. Thanks April!

We absolutely loved our stay in the Hills!! The home is just beautiful! From the tasteful furnishings to the cozy fireplace, we couldn’t have found a more wonderful place to stay. Everything was extremely clean and convenient. Be and Tom were so incredibly responsive and organized. Above and beyond for sure! The hot tub was a welcome spot to relax after a long day of hiking and exploring. We had all we needed for a fantastic trip. Next time we come back to SD we will absolutely not hesitate to stay at Moonlight Pines! Thank you once again for sharing your lovely home!

It was wonderful. The cabin was very “homey”. The goats and rabbits were a huge hit for our toddler(and my wife). Will definitely be back!

In mid-April we had good weather. It was a nice quiet place to relax and enjoy the company of good friends. We had deer walk by when we were sitting around the fire ring and saw a herd of elk as we were leaving.

We had a great stay! Things were as advertised and very comfortable for our family. The kitchen, which we used often, was well equipped and clean. The beds were comfy and roomy. The children enjoyed the basement room, with its games and toys. We used the hot tub once. It was also clean with towels by the door. My only complaint would be the hot water & water pressure situation. Only one person could shower at a time and only for a few minutes until the hot water was getting cold. It was a minor inconvenience to not be able to shower while the washer or dishwasher or another person was showering.

I enjoyed my stay a lot. Very nice cabin and a very nice surrounding.

The house was clean as was the hot tub, which we enjoyed. It was private and peaceful. Lots of games. Follow the directions the host sends you instead of Google maps. We recommend taking a vehicle with 4 wheel drive. It was what we were looking for, hidden away and quiet.

We stopped here for one night on our back from Yellowstone. This place was comfortable, clean and cozy. They have lots of amenities on site. We hope to come back some time to enjoy the hot tub and corn hole game and just hang out on the huge porch. While in town we also stopped at the local general store which is the oldest general store in the state, and well worth the visit! Great place, lots of nature and history in the area.
