Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

It has incredible views over the golf course, the beach and Largo Law, while situated in a practical location close to all amenities. The beach is considered to be one of the top beaches in Scotland for swimming, bathing and recreation, which is patrolled by lifeguards in the summer months.

Our cosy cabin sits in a small orchard on our property which is semi-rural and set on the edge of farmland. We are situated at the entry to the beautiful East Neuk of Fife which includes the pretty harbour towns of Anstruther and Crail and is renowned for its many types of crafts. We run a Stitching Studio and Gallery on our premises. St Andrews is only 14 miles away, Dundee 24 miles and Edinburgh 37 miles. There is a main line station at Kirkcaldy which is 9 miles away.
