Great place love the view and the house.

I have so much positive to say about this place! Despite what some reviews mention about the drive, it's absolutely worth it. There's a small restaurant just 2-3 minutes away, easy access to the city, and you're only about an hour from Pisa and some beaches. The house was perfect—everything well thought out and worth every penny. The pool was amazing, and the host was very responsive. If you're visiting in autumn or spring, bring warm clothes for the chilly evenings. We were sad to leave, and I can't wait to come back to this dreamy property!

This villa was something out of a dream. Stefania was so lovely and wonderful with recommendations and booking us a rez at a fantastic local gem of a restaurant. The views were incredible and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The villa itself was cozy and inviting. The outside seating area was well used by us for nightcaps, dinner and conversations about falling in love with Tuscany and all it's amazing nooks and crannies. We wanted a picturesque and home-like central base for our 10 day adventure in Italy and we're delighted with the accommodations that really was like something out of a movie. Lucca was only a short drive away and offered the best grocery store-Esselunga! Thank you Stefania for your warm generosity, kindness and suggestions. This was a birthday trip that we will never forget and cemented our longing to return soon!

We took our family to Barga for the first time. There were 9 of us, ranging from 6 months to 70 years old. The villa swallowed us easily, plenty of space and privacy for everyone. Eleonora and Daniela were very responsive during the booking period, and when we arrived everything was exactly as expected. It's a beautiful place, the views and setting are magnificent, and it really is no more than 10 minutes walk in to the old town of Barga. The welcome pack included local cheese, a traditional cake, wine, oil, bread and was much appreciated! Despite some appalling weather, we made lovely pizzas in the outdoor pizza oven, and enjoyed some (coolish) swimming in the large clean pool - this was early October. Excellent range of restaurants in old and new Barga. 45 mins to Lucca, 1 hour from Pisa - and the caves at Grotta del Vento are definitely worth a visit - especially if it's raining! Overall, we had a brilliant time. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful week in Vincenzo's house. We were 2 families with children (5 in total). The spaces in the house were perfect for welcoming everyone. The location, a 15-minute drive from the beaches of Lido di Camaiore and 35 minutes from beautiful Lucca, turned out to be perfect. Out of the chaos, surrounded by greenery and tranquility. Vincenzo is also a super host! Friendly and available. Absolutely recommended.

We had a great time in Giampis house. Beautiful garden with a nice swimming pool, and we especially liked the kitchen outside in the upper house, which we could use also when it was raining. Great surroundings, great view, walking distance to shops and good restaurants in the small, peaceful town La Gracie and 15 min walks to the more touristic, but beautiful Portovenere. A great base for tours in Cinque Terre, with ferry from Portovenere or bus into La Spezia and train from there. We came without car, no problem at all to get around. Giampaolo is very friendly and helpful and gave us good advices where to eat and to do our shopping, and how to get around. We will absolutely recommend Giampaolos place, either for a relaxing or for a sportive vacation, or even better, both!

Paolo was really making his best to make us feel welcome. He even delivered special fire-wood to the grill and told us olive-tree gave the food a nice flavour.

We stayed with Marco with our 3 children and it was super relaxing and especially because of the fantastic pool a particularly nice holiday. The house is very spacious, the garden is large. The area is very varied and beautiful, the location is great. The supermarket is within walking distance, the small village center very cozy and typical. You can drive 5 minutes to the beach. Marco is a very friendly and accommodating host.

The villa was outstanding. Our family all with room to spare. The weather was perfect for us and could make use of the beautiful outdoor verandah for our meals. A truly fabulous stay

This villa is a gem, pictures don’t do it justice. The views are absolutely breathtaking….The house is fully equipped with everything we needed. We managed a trip to Florence and surrounding beaches which was recommended by the host. We could have stayed longer. I would definitely be back. My kids loved the pool and the little surrounding walking trials surrounding the villa. Only 1 hours drive from Pisa airport.

Paolo was amazing! He was so helpful and responsive. The villa was even more impressive in person. Highly recommend staying here! Beautiful city. Do an olive oil tour / tasting if you can. Enjoy a sunset under the Tuscan sun!

Can’t express what a beautiful stay Villa Rafaelli was for my family of 9 adults. It was truly staying inside a piece of history!!! The rooms, the decor, the paintings, the antique pieces—it was just so special! And the outdoor spaces were so incredible and had everything we needed to enjoy! We didn’t leave the Villa during our stay, just enjoying the hot tub and pool and ping pong and views. Leonardo was such a kind and helpful host. He helped us set up amazing Tuscan breakfast and dinner and had a beautiful welcome basket waiting for us. This place was so special. The drive is windy to get there, but 100% worth it. The experience of a life time!

We had a wonderful time and felt right at home! The home had plenty of space, comfortable beds, a welcoming pool, and a gym to boot! The location was fabulous - we were easily able to visit Pisa, Lucca, and Florence as well as several beaches. Overall, highly recommend!

Villa Vittoria is the ideal mix of tranquility and comfort, just minutes from Lucca. The interiors are spacious, well heated and welcoming, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The covered patio allows you to enjoy the view even on cooler days. It would be nice to be able to go back in the summer to enjoy the park and the beautiful swimming pool. A perfect place for a getaway in Tuscany!

A wonderful, peaceful, grand villa in a tremendous garden ( more like a park ) The interior is beautiful with loads of personal accents. Livia and her team have taken care of us, as excellent hosts. It’s a fantastic place to stay with family and friends. We were all very impressed!!!

We just returned from a weeklong stay at this beautiful villa, two families with kids ranging in age from 2 years old to 9 years old. The villa is fairly secluded but we had no problems finding it just through Google maps. The property is essentially fully enclosed so we did not have to worry about the kids wandering onto the roads. The house was extremely clean. Both kitchens were fully stocked with all the pots, utensils and serveware that you need. The outdoors was the best! Beautiful pool cleaned daily; not sure if pool was warmed but it was hot enough outside to keep the temp extremely comfortable. Behind the pool is the beautiful vineyard and volleyball area. The owners were so friendly; they gave us giant baskets of garden veggies and another basket of snacks and so much homemade wine. Elena/Ester were so helpful. The Conad is within 8 minutes away and had lots of fresh produce. We drove into Aulla for coffee and pastries (10 min away). Great base to stay with kids!

Very nice house located in a quiet area. There were 12 of us including 5 children and 2 teenagers and everyone enjoyed the beautiful pool and garden. There was a playroom for the kids. Claudio was very available and kind when we had any questions. Thanks to him also for his advice

if someone is looking for a quiet and beautiful place, this is the place for you! We stayed at Villa sole mio for a week. The view is far-reaching and beautiful. The villas are a little remote meaning that you have to be mobile, but you get peace throughout the day. The location is ideally located geographically and you can reach Lucca,Pisa,Siena and Florence. You can also reach the sea within 45 minutes. Ideal to visit cities in the morning and enjoy the fantastic pool with the view in the afternoon. Our host, Martina was very friendly and always helpful. The employees who work on the property are also very friendly and keep the complex in good shape. What should be mentioned is the access road to the villa. You can only reach the villas by a narrow one-lane pebble path of about 400 m long. A sports car or a lowered vehicle is not recommended. I can only recommend Villa sole mio. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely week. Unfortunately, the pool was much too cold around that time. In high summer, it will certainly give good cooling. The garden is a dog paradise. We were 11 adults. The 5 rooms were too few for this. The kitchen equipment was sufficient for 12 people. We were able to cook and barbecue extensively. Unfortunately, the coffee maker was not enough for everyone. Only the conventional method helped. The separate wine cabinet was used extensively by us. All in all a good place for Max. 10 adults and two young kids at a warm season.

Very nice accommodation located in a quiet and refreshing place. Impeccably clean, furnished as the description. The terrace overlooking the olive trees is a delight. Eugenia is very responsive, attentive and very friendly!! Best suited with children.

Marco is the perfect host, we felt very welcome and comfortable. The house is perfect, nothing is missing and I have never met such a nice and courteous host.

We had a great week with friends at Villa Nicolai. The house is furnished in the Tuscan style and has everything you need. The garden with pool was simply fantastic and was also a paradise to romp around for the two little ones. We also got two cots and high chairs available. We would go back to the villa immediately and also the hosts were very friendly and smiling at all times and fulfilled all our wishes.
