Historically, this is the second oldest house in the village, dating back to 1635. A unique and peaceful newly renovated property nestled in the heart of the golden stone region, it's just 10 minutes from Villefranche-sur-Saône and 40 minutes from Lyon. The house was built in the 17th century by a lord of the Order of Malta to establish his own village. A private outdoor area is available for your use, complete with sun loungers, a table, chairs, and a barbecue (please bring your own charcoal)

The apartment (45m²+ private patio) is located on the banks of the Saône, a 5-minute walk from the historic old Lyon district. Located on the 1st floor (no elevator), hillside of an old building on the bank of the Saône river, the building corridor is a little rustic (17th century). The apartment has been fully redesigned, keeping its authenticity. I made it my refuge, away from the hustle and bustle of Lyon. However, this place is not to everyone’s taste 😊. I describe later the pros & cons.

Welcome to "Chez Val ", My studio is attached to my house. Everything is new and I made it a point to make it a warm place for a pleasant stopover. It has a kitchen area and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Sleeping is comfortable thanks to a new sofa bed with a 14 cm Simmons mattress. Parking space on site (the gate is closed and secure).
