This beautiful country home has been recently updated. Our property is tucked away at the top of a .7 mile private road, on a 10 acre farm, with amazing views of the valley, hills, city, & breathtaking sunset right from the living room/ kitchen. We are about 15 minutes away from town, so definitely not in the city. Our quaint country home is located on the Placer county wine/ ale trail, near wineries and breweries, 2 miles to Hidden Falls, and close to many of California’s best hiking trails

This cozy dwelling is centrally located at the base of the Sierra foothills. The cottage sits on a secluded hilltop on 14 acres that is shared with the landowners in case you need anything. It is private, peaceful, formally a family farm & has herb filled garden beds & gorgeous tree lined sunset views. It is equipped with all you’ll need to make your stay comfortable. Enjoy the peace & quiet of this countryside retreat with access to unlimited activities in both Nevada & Placer counties.

PEACE, COMFORT and BEAUTY. You feel peace as you drive up the hill, with a view of Folsom Lake (13 min) and Sacramento (38 min). Yet the happy hubbub of Auburn is only 9 minutes away. Arriving, you enter your peaceful private garden. Inside, true comfort awaits: nourishing sleep, creative cooking, luscious lounging (see amenities). Once settled, relaxing with wine glass in hand, you notice the beauty: the huge oak, hummingbirds, crimson-capped woodpeckers. And then you say, “Aahh, peace.”

This private suite has a separate entrance with screen door, kitchenette & bathroom. The Bedroom has a full size bed with quality linens and a 4” Memory Foam topper, fireplace, ceiling & floor fans, t.v., futon & closet. Kitchenette offers the essentials, electric hot pot & skillet, small refrigerator, sink with garbage disposal & microwave/air fryer oven. The “spa-like” bathroom boasts an overhead rain shower head & removable wand combo, a teak bench, shower essentials & fresh linens.

Our space is best for single occupant only as it shares a wall with our home. There is an extra guest fee of $40 per night. Peaceful, quiet and private guest house on 20 acres near the town of Penn Valley in Nevada County, California. Our place has a remote feel but is only 25 minutes from Grass Valley. This is the place to relax, be in nature and/or visit the nearby historic towns of Grass Valley, Nevada City, Ananda Village, the West Coast Falconry, and numerous wineries. Do note that this guest house does NOT have a kitchen, only a small frig and a microwave and a hot plate on request.
