The major Tuscan tourist cities are easily reachable both by car and by public transport.

The Gegia Matta

In the green of Tuscany La Gegia Matta is the guesthouse of Villa Ruschi, a magnificent eighteenth-century property characterized by the typical Tuscan style. It is located in the center of Calci, in Val Graziosa and is easily accessible both by car and motorcycle. Nearby you will find restaurants, wine bars, groceries and you can also visit the beautiful Certosa di Calci. It is 10 minutes from Pisa, 20 minutes from Lucca , 1 hour from Florence and 20 minutes from the beaches of the Tyrrhenian coast.

Our little place, Il Cubetto, inaugurated with the 2020 season, stands in full Tuscan country and is particularly distinctive because of its absolute exclusivity: only two studio apartments within our 7000 sqm of garden planted with many fruit trees, with great attention to any detail. Our guests, a maximum of two per studio apartment, have the use of a salt-water infinity swimming pool overlooking the valley. Depending on the car they drive, they can park next to the cottage or beside the road.

"Mercanti" cozy attic in a tower house

An old tower house in the heart of Pisa. A fully equipped stainless steel kitchen with espresso machine and kettle. The interiors blends wooden beams, steel and glass with a swinging hammock, designer lamps, a turntable and an extensive library of art and illustration books. The bedroom is accessed via an internal staircase, while the apartment is located in the attic (3rd floor) of a historic building: the staircase is a bit steep, so unfortunately it may not be comfortable for everyone.

Independent rustic house 800 meters from the sea with a large garden in a residential area. Parking spaces included. The accommodation consists of 1 double bedroom and 1 small bedroom with a double bed (4 total beds), a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and washing machine. Outside is a large shaded veranda, a barbecue, and a ping pong table. In the area there are shops for basic necessities and some restaurants. The house is located 10/15 min from the city center.

Also a few minutes away you will find the "Venezia" district where you can enjoy typical restaurants and taste all the specialties of Tuscan cuisine. Quiet apartment in the heart of the historic center called the Venice for the presence of numerous canals. Located on one of the oldest streets in the city, it is on the second and top floor of a recently renovated historic building. Arranged on two levels, the upper part has three large skylights overlooking the wonderful sky of Livorno. A stone's throw from all the nightclubs and the port but very quiet thanks to its location inside the building.
