The outer greenhouse features towering banana trees, grape vines, birds, turtles and even a fish pond. The inner living spaces are cozy and quiet. Located in the world-famous Greater World Earthship Community, this modern off-grid home is one of a kind! Built by hand over 8 years by me, your host, Kirsten. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

Fire pit with wood. Spectacular mountain views and 10 farm acres to roam. Pets are OK but only small dogs inside. (kennel and/or fenced yard available for bigger dogs or ones that shed profusely). Designated parking space and room for RVs. High speed Wifi is available.

Grandmas Ol'House is a cozy little house next to the main highway, and 10 miles from the Sipapu Ski Loge. There is also great places to go tubbing, hiking, and bike riding. There are a couple of grocery stores, restaurants, and gas stations for your convenience. If you are looking for a nice peaceful getaway, then this is a great place to stay!
