Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Emma’s cosy cottage. The location is perfect for exploring the Brecon Beacons.

We booked this place a year ago, for a friend's wedding this weekend. It was perfect for us, 6 min drive from Tall John's house, greet place to recover from the busy wedding during breaks, and was perfectly clean and tidy. My parter sat in the window just admiring the views for a long time. Honestly, we couldn't fault it. Had a lovely time. Really glad we found this place. Price was great, host gave us an awesome booklet of information. Thank you Kay!

The cottage was beautifully set up with all expected amenities and more. It’s located in a very peaceful setting, and you can walk into the village or to the Bannau Brycheiniog park by way of footpaths through gorgeous landscapes. Alastair was a top notch host, providing recommendations for local walks and even shared a bottle of apple juice from his very own orchard. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a home base while exploring the national park.

Fantastic setting with beautiful walks either way along the canal. The barn had everything that we could possibly need with the added bonus of being decorated to the highest standards with impeccable taste! Great hosts that communicated well and made us feel welcome. We definitely want to return!
