Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Loch Linnhe

We found the house to comfortable and clean, the beds were great with good quality mattresses and linen. The lounge was very comfortable and a good size. It was good to have the drive way as the streets around had a lot of cars fighting for space. The house is in an estate that has some really run down properties/areas but the house itself is next to some nice friendly neighbours (Annie with the two Chihuahuas!) We found it to be quiet at night. The cons: quite far away from town, you could walk but it's about 30 mins. There are some niggly issues with squeaky hinges, dodgy door handles and a window that wouldn't shut properly in the bathroom, but these were irritations rather than deal breakers. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

This is not a house, it’s a home. It has everything you need for the family to be comfortable right from the moment you arrive with something for everyone. Standout for the young children a fab garden with an awesome trampoline. Standout for the adults space and comfort to totally relax. What takes it from great to exceptional are the thoughtful touches …… and there are a lot but it’s most of all the welcome and hospitality of Kay our host who kept in touch to make sure all was well and gave us brilliant tips on where to go suitable for each of our parties needs. We booked this house for a joint 70th birthday present to our parents and stayed with people aged between 1-70. It met all our needs well and the house is lovely and warm with good bathrooms, spacious kitchen and wonderful outdoor space.

I booked Cardon house for my friends Hen do! It was in such a lovely location, surrounded by woodland. There was lots of space outdoors and seating areas to sit outside. Indoors was lovely, ample space for larger parties to stay. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfy. The lounge area was lovely, it was very spacious and had lots of seating. It was great for hosting the hen party games and being able to sit together. There was a lovely wood burner which unfortunately we did not get a chance to use but would be great for in the winter. The kitchen and dining area was open plan and spacious and there was a large table for all of us to sit. It’s about a 15/20 min drive by taxi, which we used to travel into Inverness. Taxi was able to find Cardon house promptly and easily. Caroline was responsive when I asked her questions regarding the stay and we got to meet her when we checked out. She was welcoming and asked about our stay. We did not want to leave. Very happy bride to be!

roomy accommodation with 4 bedrooms perfect for a larger party

This is probably clear in the description, but it is a second floor walk up. Not a problem for us, but I just wanted it noted. Nice, clean, and comfortably spacious. We had a comfortable stay.

Our group of 3 adults had a brilliant short stay at Katie's place. The apartment was easy to access, with full instructions and helpful photos provided ahead of check in. The apartment had everything we needed and plenty of space for the three of us to relax. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and despite the city centre location, there wasn't too much noise at all. I had read some reviews suggesting that might not be the case but think that those guests had unreasonable expectations of a city centre apartment! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Merchant City with so many fantastic restaurants and bars as well as the brilliant Fruit Market music venue on the next steet which has a sensible curfew given the residential location. Good value for money, very well looked after and well equipped apartment in a beautiful, characterful building in a brilliant location. We would definitely return!

We really loved the location of the place and the professionalism of our host, Murray. The flat was right at the centre of the town and yet was silent and peaceful. Murray was responsive and helpful. He even sent us by mail the phone charger we left at the place.

Mary has a very nice top floor flat on the edge of Dunoon. The property has good sized rooms and is well equipted with everything you would need. The location suited us well it that it is convenient for locations such as Benmore Botanical Gardens and other places of local interest. A half hour drive to the short drive on drive off ferry crossing at Conintraive made for an easy and scenic journey to Rothesay. All in Marys property is very convenient and good value, and we would have no hesitation booking again in the future.

Anna provided very clear instructions and the home was so easy to find. Really nice and cozy, everything was clean and the shower was great. Anna also very kindly provided tea, coffee, sugar, shower gel etc., really appreciate the little details. Would recommend to all. Also, please remember do not park your cars on the pavement, this is not England. We got a fine but we got over it pretty quickly aha.

Margaret is a wonderful host, helpful with great communication. The house was pristine condition and perfect location for us (close to the airport but not too close). Would recommend if needed accomodation in the Glasgow area.

Diane was a wonderful, helpful host, and the apartment proved to be a useful base for our time in Stirling. Just below the castle and minutes from anything (including several decent takeaway locations and a large grocery store), made it easy for our group to tackle errands and get back to seeing the sights. The comfortable apartment gave us plenty of space, a fast Internet connection, and a great space to wind down in at the end of the day.

Absolutely idyllic spot, the view from the property was incredible. So peaceful and plenty of things to do within easy driving distance. We visited Loch Lomond, Inveraray, falls of falloch. All worth a visit and plenty of beautiful scenery and walks. The local pubs and restaurants were great too. Good for a drink in the beer garden was The Village Inn and the absolute best food, especially the muscles at Cu Mara bistro.

Had a short but great stay. Used Lyn’s accommodation as a base to walk up Ben Nevis. Nice and close to Fort William and the start of the ascent. The accommodation was super clean, comfortable, warm and cozy. Thoroughly recommend.

Mieszkanie bardzo czyste, przestronne, dobrze wyposażone. Widok z salonu przepiękny. Świetna lokalizacja w spokojnej okolicy. Komunikacja z Dorothy przebiegała bardzo sprawnie. Jeśli wrócimy na Skye, to na pewno tutaj.

We had the best time here! Scott helped us out a lot by accomodating us a day early when our when broke down. The place was clean and very modern, everything we needed was there! We walked into the city almost every day but the subway is fairly close so that is an option too. You don't have to go far for the best food, our favourite place was just 10 mins walking distance! We will absolutely come back to Scotts' when we come back to Glasgow!

Absolute 10/10 hosts, could not be more helpful and friendly. Cannot fault the beautiful Woodside tower. We had a fabulous time relaxing and rewinding, will absolutely be back.

Fantastic place to stay on Bute with a group of friends. Nice space to relax at the back of the property also. Will hopefully book again.

Mooi en netjes appartement. Alles aanwezig in de keuken. Parkeerplaats voor de deur. Half uur lopen van het centrum langs een drukke weg is een klein minpuntje.
