The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the historic castle ruin. The vaulted cellars date back to 1527, while the main house was built in 1734 in the Franconian half-timbered style.

- At the beginning of 2024, we renovated and cozily designed for our guests - Our approx. 40 m² non-smoking apartment is for 2-3 people. - It has a separate entrance and a quiet sun terrace. - In the large living / sleeping room there is a large double bed, a sofa bed, a large armchair and satellite TV. - The small modern kitchenette offers all possibilities of self-catering. - The bathroom is equipped with glass shower, underfloor heating and hair dryer.

Our house with 2 apartments is located on a 2000 sqm property in a quiet location on the edge of the forest, directly on the famous Malerweg. In about 600 m you can reach the Elbe cycle path, the ferry dock, the adventure pool and restaurants. Good starting point for hiking, biking, as well as for visits to castles and palaces as well as sights. The S-Bahn station "Stadt Wehlen" is about 500 m away. From here you can reach the cultural city of Dresden in 30 minutes.

Here you have an ideal starting point for hikes and excursions into the rocky world of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains with its mountains to conquer and wild, romantic valleys. The city centre and public transport (S-Bahn, bus and boat) are about 15 minutes' walk away.

In the apartment there is a TV, a radio, a bathroom with WC as well as a shower and a mini kitchen. WIFI is available. There you can find a refridgerator, a sink, a coffee machine and a cooker. Everything to make a nice meal after a long day of hiking in Saxony Switzerland!
