Huis Potaerde: country house near Brussels

This renovated country house is ideal for a stay up to 8 people. Huis Potaerde is situated in the old farm buildings on the square farm 'de Potaerdehoeve' ( now a modern dairy farm with cows and clalfs : to visit!), dated from 1772. Authenticity and class were central to the renovation. The location is extremely quiet, the cows graze on the adjacent meadows... And all this near the bustling center of Brussels! “Studio Ebdiep”, is located in Sint-Amands on the most beautiful bend of the Schelde. The modern and cozy studio for 2 people (max 4 pers., ask for our rates) is located in a 17th century historical building, once the birthplace of Emmanuel Rollier, captain of the Boerenkrijg in Klein-Brabant (1798). Welcome to the Scheldt region, known for its peace, nature, hiking and cycling routes and a short distance away from beautiful cultural cities of Antwerp, Mechelen, Brussels and Ghent.

The house is located 50 meters from the tomb of the famous poet Emile Verhaeren. Every day, the tides, the countless bird species and the beautiful nature provide various scenes. The landscape never gets boring. Walks, bike rides along the Scheldt, cozy terraces, delicious restaurants and sailing with the ferry: all this is Sint-Amands.

During your stay in this spacious, restful accommodation you will forget all your worries. The house is located in a pleasant neighborhood north of Brussels with many hiking and biking trails. Our cozy home in the heart of Mechelen is the ideal base for exploring Mechelen. Close to shops, the fish market full of terraces and the sights. Still, the house is located in a quiet street, overlooking the beautiful Patershof church. The house has an equipped kitchen, renovated bathroom and soft bed. Very cosy apartment in a quiet street. The apartment is on level 0 en has a private terrace and garden. It has two rooms with kingsize beds. All the basics are there: bedlinen, towels, soap, coffee, sugar and herbs ... There is a private carport and a storage for bikes. Baasrode is next to Vlassenbroek and Kastel, an amazing bike and walk area!
