Farmstay holiday rentals in Louisiana

Beautiful little cottage on the grounds of an even more beautiful old plantation home property. The cottage was quaint and was plenty of room for us. Only three of us stayed but it is very comfortable for a family of four with a loft bedroom with a queen and two twin beds (and a pull out sofa in the living area downstairs). It is great for a peaceful getaway!

Claude is a wonderful host who offers a very special cabin in a very nice neighborhood. His cabin reflects his creative handiwork and expert craftsmanship. We were very comfortable and our stay was definitely a highlight during our travels through Louisana.

Fabulous place to stay while your New Orleans. Great location. Walkable to Frenchmen Street and the French Quarter. Great location for restaurants and local bars. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. Communication with the owners was fabulous.

The goats are the sweetest goats I’ve ever come in contact with. I grew up on a ranch, I’ve owned goats… These goats (and the kitty) are kid friendly. My son is terrified of cats, by the end of the stay he wanted to carry the cat home with us. We came for the animals and the outdoors experience which did not disappoint! We enjoyed every minute, especially the Bigfoot touches! Everything was perfect! Oh and don’t miss feeding the fish!! We loved that!

This place is so adorable!! The photos do not do it justice - it's an old historic Cajun cabin. The bathroom was much larger than I thought and has an original claw tub. The upstairs loft has the 2 twin beds and a double - very roomy. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and peaceful - horses, chickens, citrus trees, old barns etc.... You are close to the highway, but feel like you are deep in the country. The only downside to this place is that we only spent 2 nights and didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. This airbnb is perfect for an isolated getaway of quite and relaxation. Highly recommend!!!

My now husband and I wanted to find a beautiful place to host our intimate wedding and Bellevue Manor was PERFECT! We could not have found a more perfect place to get married! The house’s rich history and beautiful settings were such a fun part of our big day! Also, we worked with Host Jonathan, who was super communicative, to plan everything! He was a huge help in navigating whether we could utilize the space for what we had in mind and even let us do a brief tour before hand! We truly could not have picked a better place to stay and celebrate. Bellevue Manor will always have a very special place in our hearts!

Mary was an exceptional host! We absolutely loved everything about her place; the beautiful scenery, peaceful surroundings and privacy! The perfect weekend get away that passed by way too quickly. We will definitely be back!!

Laura’s place was the perfect place to stay while visiting our daughter. Very peaceful and quiet. The place was decorated so nice. Very clean. Easy to check in and out. Laura was quick to respond if I had a question. We will definitely be back.

This place is perfect if you want peace and quiet, but still close to everything. The house is very well maintained and decorated very nicely. There is plenty of yard if you have kids who like to play outside and an outdoor sitting area to watch them. Covered parking is a big plus, too. There is a big book with lots f information about the area and things to do which is very helpful if you've never been there. We are thinking of making this a yearly visit!

Wonderful hosts! The property is beautiful and only a short drive from Lafayette and Breaux Bridge. Be sure to ask Larry about native Louisiana gardening. We’re very grateful for their hospitality and we really enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect house for our family! We made countless memories in our short time here! The house looks just like the pictures and was C-L-E-A-N!!! I honestly couldn't find any area that could be cleaned any better. I never bathe in a bathtub that isn't my own, if needed I would not have any issues bathing here. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths for 6 people. The master bed was comfortable, the kids said theirs were good also. There were plenty of games and kid items if needed also. We had pizza delivered one night with no issues. The kayaks were so much fun and we fished a lot too. The main attraction was the swing on the big tree, we laughed so hard on this swing and loved every minute of it! The neighbors were nice and didn't mind that my kids walked on their property (with permission) to fish. Linda was very proactive in messaging me, even giving me a weather update on my way in. Would recommend 10/10!

We stayed here for a week and a half. The place was a nice cozy cottage with everything we needed. It was a rural setting with a very large yard and porch. Although it was too cold when we visited , it would have been perfect to sit on the porch at the end of the day. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again

Our stay at The Birdsong Cabin was wonderful. It was the second time staying. We stay for our anniversary and it's lovely, charming, secluded, cozy, pet friendly. We enjoy the beautiful windows and the fire pit area outside every night. Being able to bring our dog makes it even more home-like. Right outside of St. Francisville and close to Mississippi gives us opportunities for shopping, plantation tours, great food at The Saint, Magnolia Cafe, Restaurant 1976, and also hiking at Clark Creek. The perfect getaway!

Wow, all I can say is wow. This house is like living inside of a museum. It is huge and filled with absolutely museum quality furnishings. Wish we could have stayed longer but we were in town for a funeral. We will look for this house again when we travel back to southern Louisiana. Pictures don't do it justice. Also, it is on a large piece of property next to Bayou Teche. The enormous old oak trees are just beautiful and majestic. The furniture is just exquisite. If you are looking for a place near Jeanerette, this is well worth the money. The host was so responsive and helpful.

It’s a great location, 15min from St.Francisville but very rural. You can see every star on a clear night!

Enjoyed our stay at camp of the pines! Paul and Jacki were great host, always responsive. Definitely a home away from home with plenty of room to stretch out and relax! My children enjoyed the big yard and the horses! 😊Definitely recommend staying here if in the area!

Nice place to get away for a weekend from the city! Super quiet and peaceful.

I had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful lakefront cabin! Beyond what's in the photos, the cabin is equipped with lots of thoughtful extras that made my stay comfortable, such as a Bluetooth speaker, more kitchenware than I'm used to finding in rentals, and shades on every window for total privacy. Hosts were friendly and communicative, I look forward to coming back for my next writer's retreat.
