The place was perfect, just as described. We didn't get the code for the lockbox, but when I reached out to Chelsea, she was on it within minutes. Also gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Saw Shop. Thanks, Chelsea!

Host provided great instructions for entering their property which included a couple options on how to get inside the property. Loved the fact that the flooring was hardwood which adds to the cleanliness of the property. The kitchen was nicely appointed with all the normal utensils, plates, glasses etc. The quality of items was better than many places you might rent. For example, the knifes actually can be used to cut meat! One item that stood out to us was the quality of the water in the home. We have stayed in properties at Clearlake that advises you not to drink the water coming out of the faucets. Lastly, we appreciated the communication whereby they let you know that if you have any concerns they are there to help. We did not have any problems but it was nice to know that they made the offer even though we did not have anything to complain about. We had such an AMAZING stay. We actually eloped on the property and Anne was a fantastic host. She was super helpful and accommodating. The property is beautiful. Inside the home is very cozy and clean. The view is surreal, and if you are looking for true serenity, this place is a must. It’s extremely peaceful, quiet, and private. We immediately felt right at home. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessary cookware and spices. Cannot recommend this place enough not just for a weekend getaway, but perhaps for your special day too.

We came here to celebrate my man’s 48th birthday and it was perfectly peaceful and had everything we needed for our little getaway. We sat by the fire listening to birds chirp and the water lap, and the romantic deck lights let us enjoy the serene soundscape well past sunset. It was so quiet and private considering the vicinity to other houses, but everyone was super nice and respectful and quiet, plus the house is so well insulated compared to our city condo that we couldn’t even hear the water really unless the windows were open, so needless to say we slept like babies. The bed was comfy and the place was stocked with everything needed to make coffee or tea in the morning. We had planned to party, and kayak, and swim, and grill, and do the whole nine but the peace and quiet gripped us and we realized we needed that quiet getaway more than we knew! It was so nice to slow down and enjoy such a serene and well appointed place that was super thoughtfully put together.
