High above lake Lucerne

Cottage near a farm above Gersau on lake Lucerne (1100 m.a.s.l.). Good for hiking, montain bike tours and a digital detox getaway. Other leasure activities on and around lake Lucerne are also possible. Schwyz and Lucerne are reachable via boat or car. The cottage can be reached within 15 minutes by car from Gersau. Please note: it is a mountain road, which means it is curvy, steep and with only one lane with the possibility of turning out at regular intervals in the event of oncoming traffic.

BnB has two twin rooms, a small living room, two showers and two toilets on the 2nd floor. The entire floor is private, so you won’t share it with anyone. There is no kitchen but a mini refrigerator, a microwave and a water pot are ready to use. Free continental breakfast will be served every morning. The house is located on the sunny side of Lucerne. The rooms have a separate entrance with a private garden seating area and a cosy viewing area with a view of the lake, mountains and the city of Lucerne. You can reach small bathing bays or the nearby castle park with the imposing Meggenhorn Castle on foot in 5-20 minutes. The 9-hole public golf course Meggen invites you to relax. The bus station is about 100 m away. You can reach the tourist highlights in 5-10 minutes.

The house is situated on a small hill. Please read all the information in the listing before booking to avoid surprises. Living room, dining room and bedroom are spacious. Wonderful views of the mountains and Lake Brienz from the living room and terrace. The house has two apartments. The upper apartment is available for guests only. The host lives in the lower one during the tourist season. Luggage transport to the house is possible if the host is on site.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Sleeping in the greenhouse means being very close to the plants. A good bed awaits you and a warm stove lets you comfortably enjoy the time you spend with us. The house in the greenhouse is very well insulated and has a nice large wood-burning stove and a small electric stove. The walls are open with many windows. For privacy, it has thick curtains everywhere.

Family-friendly house with fantastic views

The house is situated in a quiet residential area with fantastic views of Lake Lucerne. The bus station is very close. Parking is available free of charge. Here you can enjoy the tranquility, but the city of Lucerne can be reached in a short time by bus or car. By bus it is approx. 25 minutes and 10-15 minutes by car. The area is ideal for exploring nature on foot or by bike. Opposite is a newly renovated playground.
