Our 150-year-old country house is located on the banks of the Saale surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Schiefergebirge. The apartment is completely renovated and offers space for a relaxing break at any time of the year. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous opportunities for hiking or cycling and in summer the Hohenwarte reservoir invites you to swim. Various shopping facilities are in the village – including Supermarket, bakery and pharmacy. The train station is 1.5 km from the house.

The bright and well-kept 45 m² non-smoking apartment for 2 people is located on the first floor of our house. Our large, certified natural garden invites you to relax. The edge of the forest and the starting point "Wanderbares Deutschland" are just a few minutes' walk away and the adventure playground for the little ones is also just 100 m away.

Entire vacation home

I offer a newly renovated apartment in the center of Saalfeld. The apartment is equipped with everything (except oil) and has a separate entrance. Everything worth seeing in Saalfeld can be reached on foot and there is a free camera-monitored parking lot opposite. Opposite there are 2 other apartments that I also rent out on Airbnb. A visitor's tax is due on site. The sofa is fold-out and can be used as a bed. The bus stop is 100 m away and the train station is a 10-minute walk.

"Benno the Wagon" - a tiny house on the edge of the forest

"Benno the Car" was originally an old shooting stand, which we converted into a tiny house with a lot of passion and love for detail. In it you can now stay in the middle of nature and still feel at home. On about 16 square meters you have everything you really need to live. Benno stands near a detached cottage outside Kleintettau in the Franconian Forest. On a meadow on the edge of the forest, he says good night to the fox and rabbit and is happy about company!

Our apartment is located 800 m above sea level and about 14 km from the center of Saalfeld. If you are looking for peace and time to rest and relax, you have come to the right place. Slate happiness on the mountain

Our apartment is located in the small, cozy Lehesten - the land of blue slate. Great cycling and hiking trails around the Rennsteig invite you to a relaxing holiday. 🚴🥾 In Lehesten there is the oldest roofer school in Germany, as well as the famous Schiefersee [slate lake] – here everything revolves around slate! The town of Steinbach am Wald, about 9 km away, also offers a swimming pool and a small bowling alley for the whole family.
