Baroque apartment at the Old Town Hall 1

A very special apartment in a dream location with a view of Bamberg Town Hall, stylishly decorated with antiques. The front building was erected in 1530, and the water side followed in 1640. Originally a half-timbered house, it was plastered during the Baroque period in the 17th century. The façade was restored in May 2026 with great attention to detail and is now once again shining in all its glory next to the town hall. The house was purchased by my grandparents in 1968; before that, it had been a pharmacy for 200 years.

In the small wooden house surrounded by half-timbered houses in the quiet village center, you can relax and enjoy the nature of nearby Franconian Switzerland. The loft-like ecological wooden construction makes the apartment unique. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove. There is also underfloor heating in the bathroom and adjoining room. In the secluded garden area, a sauna, cold water shower with bathtub, sun loungers and dining area are at your disposal. The surroundings entice with numerous outdoor activities.

The granny flat has a parking space located directly in front of the separate entrance. The property is located a little off the beaten track at the end of the village. In the immediate vicinity there are climbing rocks, hiking trails and a river for kayaking. Cyclists and motorcyclists will also get their money's worth. All over the property there are 2 vacation homes with private, separate outdoor areas. Free parking at the house.
