Our guest house is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest near Oberhof and Rennsteig (about 3 km), directly on the idyllic Lütsche reservoir, an approx. 14-hectare swimming lake. Right behind the house at the edge of the forest, you can relax wonderfully at the private barbecue area, and in summer the lake in front of the front door offers refreshing cooling with excellent water quality. Guest cards are also offered for anglers. The house is the perfect starting point for hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing tours.

The exclusive furnishings with high-quality materials and the unobstructed view of the three Gleichen are unique. Bicycle/hiking tours are a highlight here. The large pool and the jacuzzi are available seasonally from Jan–Oct. The sauna can be used all year round for up to 6 people. The barbecue grill and the 2 fireplaces invite you to relax.

The income from the rental finances the maintenance, which then also allows particularly stressed people in a financial emergency to spend a free vacation there. The vacation home is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest. Behind the house, if you cross the stream that belongs to the property, you are already in the middle of the forest. Many hiking trails can be walked and the Rennsteig is not too far away.

The apartment is located on the first floor in an old storage building of the former horticultural company Benary. The vaulted cellar as the foundation of the house was built at the end of the 16th century. The half-timbered house above it was rebuilt around 1850 and completely renovated in recent years. All interior walls of the outer shell of the house are worked with clay plaster and thus ensure a pleasant indoor climate.

The three bedrooms can each be locked separately. The common areas, such as hallway, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and living room, are used exclusively by our guests. There is also a possibility of storing bicycles safely and dry in the building.
