Pauline’s place is a great find! Super clean spacious apartment, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and chairs, sufficient lighting and bed side tables, plenty of towels, a wonderful enclosed porch with nice views of Littleton, Netflix access, and a great location with the center of Littleton just a short walk away. We stayed for a month and felt right at home. Highly recommended. We will definitely return if we decide to stay in Littleton again.

My wife and I spent our ski vacation at the cottage. There was plenty of room for the two of us. The cottage is surrounded by trees and in a nice, private spot on the property. One morning we had deer greet us as we stepped out onto the porch. We had a great time staying at the cottage and in the Sugar Hill area.

Everything about the red star retreat was perfect! It is perfectly situated, easy access to several attractions. There is a lovely cafe right around the corner for delicious coffee. Julia, the host, was so polite and responsive. Checking in and out was a breeze. But the one things that really stood out was how well stocked the kitchen was! The garlic press and cast iron skillet made all the difference with cooking! We will definitely be returning.

This was an amazing place to stay while enjoying the fall weather in Vermont. The location was very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees and across the road from the Connecticut River. Waterford itself doesn’t have much going on (which I liked!) but St. Johnsbury and Littleton are within 15-20min and have everything you need. The house was beautifully updated with all amenities needed for a comfortable autumn week, including a fully-equipped kitchen, laundry machines, fireplace, and a lovely screened porch + front deck to enjoy the weather. The bedrooms were comfortable and bright, I’d recommend bringing an eye mask since the windows didn’t have curtains. I loved the member-only area - it was worth the extra cost for the river access with private beach and boats/SUPs. I only went on my final day, but I wish I had spent every evening down on the dock by the river to watch the sunset! Overall I loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and quiet
