A beautiful, quirky ground floor studio apartment in a surprisingly secluded yet wonderfully central town centre location. A few minutes walk from both the train station and the town centre, it is a perfect location to access all the amenities of town and to explore the Peak District (a 10 minute drive). A snug, well furnished retreat with a large bathroom (shower & bath) and fully equipped kitchen with bean-to-cup coffee machine. Strong WiFi & secure, gated riverside terrace with table & chairs

Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

Period cottage in a area of outstanding natural beauty within the Peak District on the banks of the river Dane. Lovely views and walking straight from the door along the river, through the woods and up onto the Roaches, Tittersworth ( Bird Sanctuary circular walk around the reservoir, 5 miles) Ashmount is strictly for 2 guests as you are in my home albeit the space is yours for the time of your stay i live in a totally separate part of the property I am close enough should you require help

Walk or cycle from the doorstep or sit on the patio and gaze at the spectacular peaks of Shuttlingsloe or Shining Tor. Being just a mile from the famous Cat & Fiddle Road, the towns of Buxton & Macclesfield are only a 15 minute car ride away. Off road parking. Smallish dog by arrangement.
