Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Madison

This place was great! Exactly as described! The hosts were phenomenal. Very responsive to anything we needed. Tons of space inside, shower was bigger than we expected. The hot water lasted longer than we expected and 6 of us could shower every morning without ever running out. That was lovely! We wanted something unique, yet affordable for spring break with our family of 9. And this provided just that. We even found a geo cache on site just down the road. A few things to note, if you’re bringing kids. There are broken buildings in the surrounding area which means there’s lots of broken glass. Our immediate housing was clear though. Made for interesting exploration. There’s very little natural light which is great for sleeping. Not so great if you lose power. We had intense storms come through the area and lost power for almost 24 hours, but our hosts scrambled to help as much as they could. Even offered to refund our last night. Brought flash lights, and kept checking in. GREAT HOSTS

Pauline’s place was so beautiful! It had everything listed and Pauline herself was so sweet! We didn’t have to worry about privacy as the property had so much space and the check in and out process was extremely easy. It is also located close to Madison, IN which had great restaurants and a great downtown (You will need a car to get to downtown). Overall would love to stay again.

We loved this place! Super cozy on a cold winter weekend. Lots of blankets, big bath tub perfect for a relaxing bath, good tv options, and coffee! Unique house too, stylistically different from most other houses in Madison.

We couldn't have asked for a better Easter get away! Our first trip to Madison. Kathryn was a great host!!! The moment we walked in i knew we were at our "home away from home". The beds were wonderful, the kitchen equipped with everything we could have ever needed, the house so clean and cozy! Katherine made recommendations for local must eats/dos. She made Oliver (our doodle) feel just as welcome as she did us. Communication was fast and helpful!!! We definitely would love to visit again!! Bob & Chris (and Oliver too!)

My sister's and I enjoyed staying at this amazing location! This place is truly a gem! It was very clean. We loved the open kitchen/living room space with a long table in the kitchen. Guest bedrooms were spacious and comfortable! The host commincated instructions well and even provided snacks and a complimentary bottle of wine! We are planning to make a return trip to the area! This place is worth the stay!

This place had everything we needed plus more! Kitchen was well stocked and my family enjoyed cooking our family meals there. We could walk anywhere in Madison and it was neat to stay in such an old district. Michelle was very responsive and helpful and left guides for things to do in Madison. Furniture was comfortable and we had plenty of room to spread out. wish we could have stayed a couple more days!! Definitely a great place to stay!!

This was our second stay at the Cozy Couch while in town visiting family. We enjoyed our stay. The home is so beautiful and clean and spacious. We love being able to travel with our dog. And the location allows us to walk everywhere, which we really enjoy. David is super responsive, even when tied up with his own holiday festivities, which we really appreciated. We can't wait to say again.

This home was very cute & felt like home! Sam was so sweet, helpful, and friendly!! We absolutely loved our stay here. The home had everything we needed. Beautiful creek runs in the back yard, and beautiful views all around! Easy to get to, a nice size yard to walk our dogs, and very clean. Quiet setting, was not bothered by any neighbors or noises. Sam was very responsive, and hosted us for a last minute trip, with no issues. This is the perfect home for a get away in Madison. We will definitely be back.

This is our 3rd stay with Tracey at Mermaid Cove. 2x in the small house and this time in the smaller camper. She and Steve deserve 10 ⭐️! We return because we LOVE the hospitality and the peacefulness! I know we will be back!!!

What a gem the Mermaid Cove Marina is! The property is lovely and peaceful. I stayed on "The Palm on the River," houseboat, which is adorable and looks just like the photos. I was pleasantly surprised how comfy the bed was and I felt safe sleeping with the door ajar, despite being by myself. I enjoyed fishing and kayaking and felt right at home. There is a shelter house available with larger showers and an area for grilling and eating. There is even a fire pit where you can join other guests for an evening of conversation around the fire. For a small fee of $75, Tracey will take you on a pontoon ride on the river. It's totally worth it. I enjoyed seeing all the neat homes and getting to know Tracey a little better. She was a wonderful hostess! Hope to return again one day and definitely recommend you stay here!

Very clean and quiet. I loved the kitchen island and it had plenty of seating when we brought our leftovers back from the yummy restaurants in Vevay! Communication was great and stay was comfortable. The couch is great for naps! Hope to stay again on my next visit to town.

This is such a nice place to stay truly! It was peaceful, I wish we had time to use the kayaks or charter a boat ride but the boat was perfect nonetheless. It was pretty cold at night but it warmed up quickly in the morning once all that sun started to come in. The extra blankets and the smart TV was night to relax and watch a movie. I will definitely be rebooking in the future, hosts were super kind and helpful (:

The boat and cove were fantastic. Very quick drive to Belterra and back and a lovely evening on top deck of boat and around the fire pit. Highly recommend if you are looking for some relaxation. Tracey was fantastic.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at The Baltmore. The house was immaculate, and the decor was so tastefully done. From the local artists artwork throughout the house, the comfortable and cozy furniture, most from local vendors and shops in Madison, and the special decorating touches that made you feel right at home. The booklet that she put together had not only great suggestions for restaurants and things to see and do in Madison but also had the history of the house. The neighborhood was very quiet and close to absolutely everything in Madison. We loved sitting out on the back deck just enjoying the pleasant evenings. Andra was an incredible host, by far one of the best I have ever dealt with on Airbnb. She was so helpful and always responded to my emails very quickly. She definitely does what it takes for you to be comfortable and feel like you're in your own home. I highly recommend it if you're planning a trip to Madison, IN.

We loved staying on the houseboat. Beautiful views and was able to take my dog. The location was great to visit the Ark and the Creation Museum. We plan on going back when it's warmer. Tracey and Frank were great hosts and were great at communication. Frank even had a fire that where we could visit and would take us out for a fee. Our schedules weren't able to fit that in, but we are most definitely going to return. Thank You so Much, Susan

Very nice and clean home. the hot tub was Awesome and very clean, we really enjoyed it. Vevay is a nice town. Everyone friendly and talkative. would definitely recommend this listing to everyone.

My boyfriend and I decided to escape for our first anniversary, and we are so glad we chose The Loft @ The Farm! Janice and Joe are both so kind and their animals are just as sweet. We really appreciated Joe reaching out before check-in to let us know about a possible detour. Instructions were simple and this place exceeded our expectations! The loft and bathroom were very clean and hand sanitizer dispensers were in the barn and the loft itself. We loved the sweet kitty who greeted us every day, and we obviously enjoyed feeding the farm animals (Oscar and the cows have our hearts)! The local area has so much to do and we were still able to have a blast despite the rainy weekend. Thank you for making our anniversary such a memorable one and for extending such kindness and care. We felt so comfortable and at home, which sometimes is hard when staying in a new place. 10/10 and 5 ⭐️ all around! We wouldn’t have a negative thing to say even if we tried-don’t change a thing! 💓

We spent an absolutely amazing three days here and it was even better than expected. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the views of the lake are everywhere. We had a phenomenal time and now we’re contemplating on coming back every year!

This getaway was just as cute in person as is in the pictures. The rich history of the location and original architecture of the cabin left us speculating about the first owners. Really neat to see. Don and Michelle were quick with communication and responses. Didn't have any issues with our stay or this property. (PLEASE read reviews that mention the stairs to the beds/lofts. 😉)
