Holiday rentals with lake access in Magdalena

My partner and I found Selva Minca to be a magical paradise. All the staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and even accommodated flexibly our super late and slightly complicated arrival when we faced trouble with flight cancellations, delays etc. It feels like a little community rather than an anonymous hotel. The food is very nice also, it’s especially a refreshing change to a somewhat basic rural Colombian cuisine ;-) The cabins are located directly in the jungle, so do expect to live and sleep in the jungle with all its relaxing and interesting sounds and animals. We loved it. The whole place truly seemed to care about the eco-tourism idea, not like many other hotels that just use the name but don’t really live by this standard. To get into Minca town, it’s a relaxing 20 minute walk down the main road, or a 5000 COP moto-taxi that only takes around 5 minutes. Also, from Selva Minca, many other hikes are possible, to waterfalls, cocoa farms, etc. We will surely be back!

Exelente place, I love the whole house, its spacious spaces, all very clean, a very quiet place, the clean pool and the best thing is that it has a direct access to the beach !! I would return without thinking it became our favorite place of santa marta!! I highly recommend it

The house was amazing, I was looking for a romantic weekend and that was exactly what we got. Beautiful place in a private location, next to the beach, small but cozy swimming pool. The house was big but very comfortable and homely, we fully recommend this place.

It is a very comfortable accommodation, on the main street of Albarrada, in front of Jazz Park, a 15-minute walk from the main square. Mrs. Flavia's attention was magnificent, her delicious breakfasts and excellent human warmth. We hope to be back soon, thank you infinitely!!

Beautiful apartment to enjoy as a family with incredible social areas and the beach right there to enjoy. Additional I must add that before, during and even after my stay I felt the host's accompaniment and this makes everything much more enjoyable. Very clean everything, well cared for and in excellent condition. Highly recommended!

The place is wonderful, my family and I were super comfortable (there were 7 of us) and we had a great time. Everything was very clear from the incio, the instructions to enter and exit, and in general the facilities of the club met expectations. As a point to note, there is a mini market on the first floor, but it is more for an emergency (it is VERY expensive), it is best to travel by taxi to the Ara, D1 and the Carulla that are 10 min away. The food from the hotel restaurant is not as good, it is better to go out to look for options nearby, walking or you can also order addresses from Santa Marta. An excellent place to be quiet and enjoy.

The apartment is very nice, a beautiful view, in a quiet area. Very easy access to the beach. The kitchen is very well equipped, the entire apartment was very clean. Definitely recommended.

The flat was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for beach access, and we thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The only thing we felt was missing was shower gel, Otherwise, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Santa Marta!"

The stay in the apartment was magnificent, in addition to being in excellent condition, everything is very new, it is beautiful, and very cozy; the photos match what the host offers. The possibility of using the different spaces offered by the condominium significantly improve the experience and we highlight the kindness and prompt response of the host, he was very considerate with our situation, always his response was timely and clear, and we are very grateful for his accompaniment and willingness to respond to our requests. We highly recommend a family vacation in this place. Both spaces stood out for the tranquility, security, friendliness of those who serve visitors, impeccability, cleanliness, good taste and because it facilitates the mobility of older people and people with reduced mobility, it also offers several options for the enjoyment of children.  It was truly a gracious and wonderful experience. Infinite gratitude!!! 

Pretty nice, clean and quiet place. The host was very attentive to us at all times, even paying attention to us to do the chek-in before the estimated time. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location, extremely tranquil! Walkable into main stretch of town. Hanging in the pool was absolutely blissful. Carolina was responsive and offered local recommendations and driver arrangements!

Our stay here was magical! This beautifully designed house in the jungle has everything you need to relax and recharge, including a well stocked spice cupboard and the company of a Luna, a very affectionate cat. You can watch hummingbirds from the breakfast table and even spot howler monkeys up above you if you’re lucky. The bedroom is spacious and secure and the neighbours are considerate and friendly. We wish we could live here forever! Thanks to Juan for answering all our questions, much love from Wales :)

Excellent hosts, spacious and super comfortable place, I highlight the cleanliness of the whole place, impeccable towels and sheets, Isabella and her mom, 2 lovely people, super friendly and always ready to help, the only aspect to take into account is that you can't cook here, in the accommodation you can have breakfast for a reasonable price, but everything else you have to eat out. I would definitely stay there again.

Had a wonderful experience!! Cold AC, clean and comfortable bed, and beautiful home with wonderful hosts. Claudia was very nice and we felt like family staying with them. There is a separate entrance for the upper part of the home where the rooms for guests are and they include private bathrooms. You can easily go to Tayrona Park by taking the bus or walking 20 minutes and there are many restaurants down the street toward the park if you are hungry, I recommend Buca which also does delivery if you're feeling lazy. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent Host. It has been a wonderful stay with plenty of activities to do in the apartment and outside. I would recommend it and for sure we will return to your apartment. We had a lovely three nights at La Candelaria. The location is outside of town but it is absolutely beautiful with an amazing view of the mountains. Eugenio and his family were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The coffee and cocoa tours were great too!
