The Lake Escape - Waterfront, Hot Tub Sleeps 14!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean, it had a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms to sleep. The check-in process was easy and everything was easy to find in the home. Our kids loved the ping pong table. The hot tub was especially lovely as the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped for! Again, a lovely visit and we would highly recommend. This is an excellently kept AirBnB and a really kind and thoughtful host. We had forgotten some belongings behind and were quickly notified and he offered to ship them back to us, making our life so much easier and solving a problem that could have been a headache! We will be back in the future!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The place was even nicer in person compared to the photos. Great attention to detail. The beds were very comfortable with softer & firmer pillows. The wood stove by the big TV and cushy couch was great. The hot tub was amazing. Lake side view off the deck was very nice. Strongly recommend. We’d love to come back.

Marilyn's place was absolutely perfect for our needs (quiet weekend for hiking and relaxing). The cottage is extremely well equipped with everything you could need for a weekend away from home. The cottage and grounds were well kept and everything matched the description of the listing. Marilyn was a hospitable and attentive host. Definitely would recommend and would love the chance to visit again someday.

As a host Charles was one of the best I have dealt with on AirBnB. He was always quick to respond and he checked in regularly to ensure everything was going smoothly. The property was very clean, very well equipped and I can't think of anything I would have required that wasn't already provided. The location is easy to find and provides good privacy. There is a well stocked grocery store that sells beer, wine and spirits that is only 5 mins away. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here and I plan on returning in the near future. Wow what a great location, so private and truly a gem of a retreat. The building is magnificent, natural wood accents everywhere. You can tell the quality that was put into this home. Will certainly consider seeing the natural setting this Summer. Hosts were super accommodating and very responsive. If there was one thing to know, if you bring young kids or grandkids, consider bringing some of your regular plates/bowls etc… the quality of the dinnerware that is supplied is top quality, sturdy and painted with beautiful patterns - top notch for sure, so you wouldn’t want to the little ones to break any of it!

It’s a cozy lovely house that’s in front of lake, the bathroom is a little bit small but in general the house is clean. Dinning room is the most beautiful place for us to stay. Nancy gave us the clear instructions. I did have good time with my friends at their place this weekend.

Katie's cottage was the perfect weekend getaway for us all, and before and throughout the stay she was communicative and helpful. We were a group of 6 adults and we felt extremely comfortable with the amenities and amount of space available, as well as the beautiful lakeview. Katie was also kind enough to leave us with ample cooking supplies and even a s'mores kit and a bottle of sparkling wine! The cottage itself was very cozy and did not feel cramped or aged at all. All in all, it was a fantastic stay and we're bookmarking her place to reserve another trip in the near future!

The house was just perfect for our family. We are a family of 4 and travelled to Ottawa to meet my sister in law and mother in law- but needed a space to be able to spend the weekend all together. Monica's place is quite large and has so many unique areas to hang out, that anyone wanting a quiet space could have it. In the summer it would have been even more amazing with all the beautiful decks on the house. The beds were all comfortable and bedrooms were tastefully decorated. The kitchen was large and generally had most supplies. It was a cold weekend with a lot of snow- Monica took care of regular snow cleaning and the house/every room was very comfortable and warm. Monica was very kind and responsive to questions. We would love to stay here again.
