La Casa sul Porto nasce dall’amore dei suoi proprietari per Maratea, località lucana considerata la perla del Tirreno, un anfiteatro verdissimo che ha come palcoscenico il mare. Si trova a pochissimi metri dal porticciolo turistico di Maratea, il borgo in cui si trova la residenza è immerso in un reticolo di scale, archetti e passaggi angusti. Da un lato è immersa nel verde, dall'altro ha una magnifica vista sul Cristo. La casa è molto luminosa e ogni appartamento ha almeno un affaccio sul mare.

L’antica torretta è stata restaurata con rispetto della sua storia e della sua anima. Gli arredamenti in legno rifiniti con oli naturali, le pareti in pietra e calce, i pavimenti in cotto fatto a mano con finitura in cera d’api e il riscaldamento a pavimento rendono questa struttura sana e rispettosa dell’ambiente. Negli spazi sono esposte delle opere d'arte. I servizi della casa includono: aria condizionata, televisore, wi-fi , cucina, uno splendido camino ed un terrazzo con vista mozzafiato.
