When we arrived he let us know that we had a surprise waiting for us. Well, It was an upgrade to the apartment above the room we rented! It was absolutely beautiful and felt like the castle that was lived in in the 1500's!! We slept great, had fun using the fireplace in the kitchen/living area and the stone sink was very authentic. They provided lots of food for us for breakfast and were alway available to let us know where we could go. We walked to Montone and it was so beautiful. The best part was booking a dinner on our last night there. We had a very romantic candlelit dinner with homemade pasta, bread, wine and all the food we could possibly eat! Such great hosts that we are planning on going back again when we visit Italy in 2027. Looking forward to seeing you again!!!!

Eremo: Charming farmhouse in Umbria_ Gubbio

Alberto & Silvia were really the reason why I gave 5 stars! They made us feel right at home, very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. The estate was very picturesque, had everything we needed. We considered ourselves very lucky that on the day we arrived, Alberto and his father were harvesting olives in their orchard right in the estate. They even took us to an olive mill to see the transformation of their olives into luscious olive oil. The estate itself was very grand, with the most dramatic view of Umbrian hills. I will dream about this experience for a long time. Grazie mille Alberto & Silvia!

Idyllic Italian Escape Near Lake and City

We stayed 8 days and found the apartment exactly as in the photos and very clean. Cinzia who manages it was very available to help us with the TV that only works with Netflix or internet (there is no antenna). Only the microwave wasn't working. It is a good starting point for visiting Umbria and the Lake Trasimeno area.

A corner of paradise, we were looking for peace and quiet and we found it. The only downside is that you had to leave so early. We were welcomed by Mrs. Livia and Mr. Luca, who reside in a house not far away. They were very helpful and kind. The house in front of the lake is really beautiful and evocative, both internally and externally. The place is quiet and surrounded by nature. p One of the highlights are the large windows overlooking the lake, the surrounding mountains and allowing you to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The outdoor space with the pond and grove around is really very nice and we all enjoyed it, including the dog. Less than halfanhour by car Gubbio and Umbertide, I highly recommend visiting if you like medieval villages and their history. Great discovery, we'll be back!

A great place to rest for very nice 2 weeks in the Marche. Beautifully located in the countryside next to its own olive trees with Tuscan (!) View, well-kept saltwater pool directly in front of the terrace, tasteful, detailed and high-quality equipment (Christian also lives in an apartment), such as air conditioning in the bedroom, German TV channels, coffee machine outside for everyone AND small DeLonghi espresso machine in the apartment: for all the little things you notice the interest of the landlord to be satisfied. Location: The Marche is not Tuscany, previously known, no city highlights, but here you will find scenery, tranquility, small villages that surprise, and you have to experience. But now the best: We enjoyed the communication with Christian, who also lives here and knows his knowledge, his food tips were brilliant, his recommendations great (beach visit, etc.), he should prepare this digitally for his guests. We really appreciated the conversations with him! Thank you!

I absolutely LOVED this place. Everything about this location is an Italian escape. I've been to Italy several times, and have been using AirBnB for a very long time, and his was by far my favorite place. The rooms, the outside gardens, the olive groves, the pets, the sunsets, the views...the absolute best. Just outside the city of Perugia, and close to restaurants, and 15 minute drive to the city, close to grocery stores. This place was cozy, and had a real farmhouse feel. Te host was awesome! Filippo was always quick to respond, was on site when I checked in, had recommendations for places to eat, get groceries, places to visit. He was incredible, and an amazing host. I would definitely come back.

We just spent four wonderful nights at Francesco’s place! So peaceful and relaxing. Francesco is an amazing host!! So responsive and friendly. Wonderful recommendations. Our first night there we had such a great time at a local festival we never would have found without him! You can walk up the hill into the village. Just a great stay…..

Beautiful farmhouse in the mountains between fields of cereals and legumes, breathtaking views, enveloped by shining greenery during the day and with a shell of stars on the head at night. Absolute peace and relaxation. We stayed three nights at David's place to visit Umbria a little, we had a great time. The house is equipped with everything you need with a very romantic wood-burning stove in the kitchen. Close to the major centers of interest in the area but in absolute tranquility. We were a nice party and it was beautiful to wake up in that greenery in the morning and be able to find refreshments on the way back from the rides in the various villages. I recommend this place to everyone, of course it has to enjoy the countryside and you have to be nature lovers, we are and we fully appreciated it, thank you David.

The perfect little Italian getaway, in a peaceful and charming location. As a family, we really enjoyed the rustic cottage and were well looked after. Having breakfast together every morning was really lovely. We were made to feel very welcome.
