Asta’s house was beautiful, spacious, and super well equipped. She was super flexible about check in and helped us organize nearby activities. Would definitely return!

Great location in the penthouse. Loved the view and all the restaurants around. Swam out to the island, but not recommended unless you are in great shape. 1 mile each way with sideways current and waves. Loved the hotel and the care they took of us.

We had a fantastic stay! From start to finish, Asta was a stellar host. She was always quick to respond to any queries and went the extra mile to send links to local events, restaurants, and other things of interest during our extended stay. The house was very well equipped with everything needed for cooking, baking, and most of all, relaxing. We took advantage of the wonderful pool multiple times a day and the ocean view from the deck was simply outstanding - it’s where I enjoyed sipping my morning coffee! If you enjoy birdwatching, this place doesn’t disappoint! From the outside deck, we enjoyed the various hummingbirds, keel-billed toucans, martins, warblers, flycatchers, vireos and the spectacular red-lored amazons to name a few. We highly recommend this location and the wonderful Airbnb, we simply loved our stay!

This place is the one of the best place that I’ve ever had stayed all my life. If I come Cambutal again I will definitely choose Emilie’s house. Not only the house but the area is amazingly breathtaking. BTW hospitality is also beyond of my expectations

What a great place to stay and relax! We felt right at home and everything was very comfortable. Quiet and beautiful; but still very walkable to town, restaurants, beaches, and stores. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Definitely at the top of our list for places we’ve stayed. Next time se come to Santa Catalina we’ll try and book the same spot!

We spent a few quiet days over Christmas at this location. We found the house comfortable and it had a large porch with great view of the ocean. We ate our meals and played euchre there enjoying the sounds of nature. Arrangements were easily made and we loved sleeping to the sound of the waves. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was great. Very close to the beach- that was also not crowded. We saw some Iguanas and alligators near the ponds. Brett was really friendly and a very helpful host. He gave us some recommendations where to eat and what to do in the area. For the following guests we recommend to have a rental car to get around.

I spent two good nights in this simple place, but very clean and well-equipped with air conditioning. The environment, with a beautiful sea view, is peaceful and access to the beach and the city center via a shortened path is very convenient!

Great spot and service. The only negative was a sporadic power outtage. For the rest all nice 👍🏽

This is really an incredible place. Big spacious ceilings and the highlight is really the porch / patio. Staying up the hill a bit from the main road in Cambutal was totally worth it. It had awesome ocean views from the porch every evening. Lying in the hammock every morning watching the ocean was hard to beat. The kitchen had everything we needed--gas range, kettle, etc. The washer and dryer worked really well. We needed our hot water worked on one day and his property manager was incredibly responsive and on scene immediately to fix the issue. I would recommend staying at this place!

One of the most beautiful homes I’ve stayed in on Airbnb. Thoughtfully designed, well appointed, fresh cut flowers, great amenities (outdoor shower, hammock, excellent WiFi, surfboard rental)….the list goes on. Importantly for me, no clutter, yet the home had a spirit which is so often the struggle on this platform. The location itself is ocean front, shared with two other homes. Cambutal is remote, you do feel like you’re in paradise from time to time, but there are enough modern outposts in town for you to eat and shop. Cheers to our hosts, much gratitude for this wonderful home you’ve created. We hope to be back soon!

Since you make the reservation you receive quick attention so since before arriving this is safe and quiet, the lodging house was clean, tidy and with the necessary implements to be comfortable (Stove, cooking utensils, crockery, hair dryer, soap and towels) and additional a swimming pool to enjoy. The land of the house is large, so you have space for a barbecue if you wish or just cross the street and walk on the beach or make a campfire. In the surroundings you can find restaurants with a varied menu of food (sea, meats and fast like hamburgers, tacos, arepas among others) and drinks (beers, natural juices, sodas or water ) overlooking the sea and likewise crowded in case you have forgotten any implement as in my case toothpaste and condiments. During the stay we always count on the assistance of Cristhiam who was always friendly and very helpful. 100% recommended!!
