Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Marsala

nice holiday in early April 2025. The apartment is very nicely located, close to a beach. The south and west coast of Sicily are quite untouched and underdeveloped. You get a lot of tips from the host. He is always ready for you. We enjoyed visits to, among other things, selinonte, agrigento and sciacca. I recommend it! (as far as the shower is concerned: it is indeed somewhat inconvenient but there is plenty of hot (and hot) water. So not insurmountable). Grazie!

We were a family of seven, grandparents, parents, three very active boys (ages 6-12). The owner and his wife were gracious hosts, greeting us with Easter time treats. The house and gardens are even more impressive than the description. Our beds were comfortable. The kitchens were well-equipped. We had a mishap and the host generously helped to solve it. You must have a car. The host can recommend excellent beaches and fun things to do We would love to return.

A great base for visiting the nature reserves, Trapani, Marsala, Erice, Segesta, and Palermo! Hosts were very responsive and attentive to our needs. They answered questions and addressed any concerns very quickly. Best surprise- the shower had amazing water pressure and hot temperature… perfect after long days exploring, hiking, and boating!

Roberto is a very welcoming host, he is very responsive and gave us some great recommendations in the area. He even brought us breakfast twice. The house has an unobstructed view of the sea with private access without sand space to settle in but with a small concrete terrace. We also enjoyed the outdoor terrace which is sheltered from the wind and where we spent very pleasant evenings. We had a good week in Sicily and the location very close to the airport (15 min) was a plus. The cities of Trapani, Palermo, Mondello, Segeste are easily accessible within 1 hour and Cefalu at 1h20.

We had such a lovely stay here. The accommodation is beautiful with an amazing view and has everything you need. Nino and his family as hosts were exceptional, going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home. Thanks so much Nino!

A peaceful quiet location away from the crowds, but close to Trapani. The photos and description accurately match the house. The living area is a great place to relax at the end of the day either cooking a meal or having a drink. Vincenza is a real pleasure to communicate with and quickly answered questions, or provided a few additional items for our stay.

Elena's antico baglio is truly a beautiful and authentic place to stay in Sicily. It is a quiet oasis amidst an area of lush nature full of olive, lemon & tangerine trees, datura and all kinds of flowers that grow during springtime. The accommodation itself has all the modern comfort one needs and is decorated in a sober but stylish fashion. It has two terraces, one upstairs where you can enjoy the evening sunshine and one downstairs. The location is perfect - if one rents a car - to visit Palermo, Segesta, Erice, Scopello, the Riserva dello Zingaro, etc. We had a lovely time and would go back immediately. Elena was very responsive and always standby and the housekeeper Marilena who let us in and welcomed us was very friendly and charming. We recommend this lovely place wholeheartedly. Lucia’s home was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The numerous flights of stairs were a challenge but we soon got used to them. Our host Lucia was very kind and generous with her time, she answered all our questions and stayed in contact throughout our visit. Thank you Lucia for the water, milk and biscuits. Trapani is a beautiful place to visit, especially Erice. Bus 23 from the Port goes to the cable car that takes you up the mountain to Erice.

Overall we had a good time. Sebastiano was a great and very helpful host. For example we had a little trouble getting there by public transport (which we really wouldn’t recommend, a car is very practical in this area!) and he send his mother to pick us up from a city nearby. Selinunte was at that time of year very very quiet and empty and the beaches had a lot of algae - maybe consider this if you’re looking into spending time there. The kitchen was well equipped and cooking there was comfortable. The inner courtyard was very cozy, although obviously sealed off from the outside world.

We loved our stay at Carlo’s. Check in was easy and he was responsive throughout our stay. The place was clean and private. The location was great, walkable to bars and restaurants.

Lovely apartment in the center of Calatafimi, 2 steps from restaurants bars supermarkets. Brand new and very cozy. It consists of 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a pleasant terrace. The village is perfect for hiking in nearby Sicily as, 5 minutes from the famous Segesta, only 20 minutes from Scopello, Trapani, Erice, the Egadi islands. Parking space below the house. Highly recommended for couples , families, and friends. Great hospitality.

Very welcoming place and front desk, my friends and I had a great time. The room was clean and we also had a good time with the bike service provided by Elimi. Very convenient location to reach the center in 5 minutes even on foot.

Very nice hosts and kind. The apartment is located literally at 3 minutes walk from the beach with an amazing spot for the sunset. Also very easy to park the car and it has a supermarket a few seconds from the apartment. Couldn’t recommend it more

beautiful house, wonderful space, Close to the beach and wonderful view. it was early. spring and the weather was cold-ish and the house has a very good heater. also AC in all rooms. lots of beautiful books and magazines about art, Sciacca town, sicily in the living room. also great recommendations where to eat. kitchen is super well equipped and we felt really at home cooking for the family. the only thing that hat it is not mentioned in the description of the apartment is that the place is a house divided in 4 apartments. one of the rooms has an exit door and windows directly to the entrance and patio of one of the apartments. so when people are there and talking normal, there is no isolation to the sounds coming from outside. same to the apartment above, someone was cleaning up there in the evening and it was very hearable. there is no ceiling lamp in most of the rooms and at night the light is low. all for all we had a lovely time and loved our stay.

Francesca is a very good host! Always helpful and very polite. She was very quick to respond to the aftermath and tried to resolve the issues as quickly as possible. The apartment is clean, bright and much nicer than in the pictures. The kitchen had perfect amenities. We enjoyed our stay at Francesca's place.

New apartment equipped with all necessary comforts, clean and newly furnished. Possibility of parking under the house and on foot you can easily reach the center and the oil beach.

Beautiful, clean apartment. Very well equipped. Washing machine, stove, oven and lots of details, like beach chairs or a water jug to rinse your feet from the sand. Very nice. You can cook, bake and live comfortably there. Beautiful sunrises and the sea at your fingertips. Thank you for the nice gift and tips ;)

Noemi's place is perfectly located to explore Trapani and the surrounding area. The apartment is clean and chicly furnished and we felt right at home! The large walk-in shower and the great roof terrace are a highlight. Parking right in front of the house is very convenient and rarely found in Italy!
