*NEW* Paddlewhacks is a group of 5 cabins nestled along the Big Cypress Bayou towards Caddo Lake. We are right on the water yet a one minute drive into Downtown Jefferson. It is the best of both worlds-unique shopping and restaurants with immediate access to canoeing and fishing. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, open concept living/dining areas, small kitchen, and a front patio. Every cabin comes with a canoe, paddles, life jackets, and access to our group firepit and private kayak ramp.

Night Shyamalan "Caddo Lake" was seen from the waterfront of Pelican Place. The patio is perfect for grilling dinner while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Caddo Lake. The updated interior of the house has maintained its rustic charm; provides a complete kitchen, private bedroom & queen sleeper sofa in living room. Emerald Cottage was featured on HGTV's House Hunters in October 2023! The Cottage is a 2 bedroom (queen bed), 1 bath with a quaint sun porch (bedroom 2) which provides ceiling to floor windows, has a daybed with trundle which sleeps 2, and a beautiful water view. The living room couch makes out into small a bed. Bathroom has large Calcatta marble shower and a full sized washer & dryer are included as well! 5 CABINS AVAILABLE: We can sleep 34 in beds! The Blue House on Cross Lake

This cottage was built circa 1926 on Cross Lake as the home for Lonnie Erwin who owned a catfish restaurant next to his home. Back in the day it was popular to drive up from Shreveport if they caught enough catfish to serve. The restaurant closed in the mid 1940s and it and the cottage fell into disrepair. We renovated the cottage and restaurant (also on Airbnb as The Red House on Cross Lake) and brought them up to date.
